 I purchesed a 2006 Freightliner Columbia from Drive Now Trucks. I test drove the truck on the 29 of Oct 2013, after the test drive I pointed out to the sales agent Joe Jordan that the rt turn signal and rt headlight did not work and that the engine check light was own, Mr. Joe Jordan stated that all discrepancies would be fixed and the truck would get a DOT inspection.

I put $4000 down on the vehicle that day. It took almost three weeks to get the truck and when I picked it up on 13 Nov 2013 the rt headlight and right turn signal was not working and the truck had not been lubercated. They had to take it back to the shop to fix the turn signal and headlight.

I left the dealership and at 202 miles the truck broke down in Port Wentworth. I had to pay $100 to get home while they towed the truck back to Bennettsville SC for repair. It took six days to repair the truck. On 19 Nov I picked up the truck and it broke down a second time in Jacksonville Fl with the same problem as before scale stranding me again, $100 more.

The manager Mr. Michael Griggs stated he would give the owner of the company my cell # and have him call me. So far I've been lied to and after 14 days I may lose the truck because the 1st payment is now due. This is a ripoff. I will be seeking legal advice. Anyone can call me and maybe we can see what actions can be taken.

Sorry to hear you are having this problem. I purchased a vehicle there myself in 2011. I have been blessed with a great truck. Havent had any big issues, just normal stuff with a used truck. I have however, had them make statements to me and then later not honor them. Have you spoken with Ashley or Heath about your problem? You can email either of them thru the Drive Now web page under "our staff". I recommend Heath as he is the top dog there. Also his extention is listed there too.

I don't know if he will help, but I know Micheal won't. I choose never to deal with him. His only goal is to sell. I hate to see them letting there business get a bad name. I think they were a good business and would like to see them continue to offer easy financing in the trucking industry. However, I am not sure I would do any further business with them. It seems like they have made even more non consumer friendly changes to there policies.
