i fell drive financial/santander consumers usa practice bad lending. once they hook you they harrass you and offer little or no help alone with the threat and some one needs two teach them a lesson that they can treat the consumsers like that.

You have validity in your Rip off Report against Santander Consumer USA. They DO practice bad lending, BUT like other's will say is: If you are a Sub-Prime customer, "You get what your credit is established of". If you have bad credit, Santander was your last resort then whose fault was it to sign a contract and allow a company like this to assume your auto loan.

Sometimes some uncontrollable events happen, like the service transfer from CitiFinancial, HSBC, GEMB, Flagship, USAC, PAN AM, Sovereign, you are stuck like chuck. Santander (SCUSA)'s main goal is FINANCIAL GAIN.

Review your contract, the front and back up and down. OVER and over again. And see if there is something SCUSA is doing that is out of compliance with the contract. Review your TILA agreement check it with a Financial Auditor if you can, to see if there was any dealer fraud. Stay on top of your payments, do not fall behind.

They will get you one way or another if you default on your contract. Remember, your contract is a simple interest contract. Your interest accrues on a daily basis, therefore if you are late on making payments, SCUSA is making more money off of you, because the terms in the contract state "the finance charge, total amount of payments are based on the ASSUMPTION that you will make each payment when they are due. At the end of your loan, you might have a high final payment if your payments during the life of the loan are late, deferred, missing or you've made several partial payments.

Be very careful about this company, in the state of Ohio, they are not required to give notice when they plan on taking your vehicle upon default.

   They lent you money.  By "help" I assume you mean some sort of arrangement for late payments.  You're absolutely right on that score.  They're not in the business of helping.  They're in the business of fincancing high-risk borrowers that no other lender will touch.   In the high-risk segment of the market, you will find very few lenders that are "helpful".   Until you're no longer a high-risk borrower, you should expect very little "help" from the few lenders that are willing to deal with you.

This appears to be yet another borrower blaming the lender for their problems. Fortunately, the courts consider a person's signature on a contract to be binding and rejects buyer's remorse as an excuse.
