DriveTime Aka Ugly Duckling ripoff Port Richey Florida
DriveTime is such a rip-off. I wanted to pay my vehicle off early and I called on a saturday(05/27/06) for a payoff and on Tuesday(05/30/06) I called again and my payoff amount had gone up $200.00.
The first payoff was supposed to be good until June 6,2006. I have gone over all of my paperwork and my payoff should be $2500.00 less than what they say I owe. I tried to pay the vehicle off for the amount truley due, due to the fact that I can no longer afford to make the $340.00 payment amount and they told me they would not except anything less than what there records show. I was told that they didnt care, that they were in the repo buisness anyway.
I am very pissed with them. They make no effort to help anybody after the contract has been signed. They have lied to me and given me the run around. I will not settle for anything less than how I believed this should be handled, even if that means taking them to court and filing a lawsuit.

Thank you anything you can do to help us would be great. We have already met with an attorney and planning on taking our next step. DriveTime refuses to help us and they keep sticking there foot in there mouth and everything has been documented. I feel we will have a very strong case.I'm just so upset that a company could get away with doing this to people again and again. I'm doing this not only for us but for everyone else out there that has been screwed by them. Hopefully we can get some justice.

Cinnamon, I was reading your complaint, and I wanted you to know, that I will attest to your complaint..that after the contract is sined, you became what DRIVETIME calls c**k roaches....I am a previous employee, and if there is anything I can do to help you and Derick and that beautiful baby girl of yours, you just let me know..I would love a day in court.
