Telemarketers call me every week with some amazing offer to make money working from home. Some company called “Peak Business Development Inc” called me in the summer of 2013 to set up a website to make a decent living working from home. The web development company called me in October 2013, charged me $3,000 to build an affiliate website linked to Amazon. This website package included Social Media Marketing with a custom page on FaceBook, Twitter and LinkedIn to promote this website. This company instructed me to spam other users with a link to this website to get visitors (Like I know how to use social media to promote a business). This website went live in November 2013.
E-Commerce Express called me in February 2014 to promote the foregoing website. I told the salesman “I don’t know anything about your company.” The salesman stated “We built you a website through our partner.” [This is where it all came together: E-Commerce Express LLC stated their involvement in setting up a LLC in my name, creating a website and now wants to market this website for a fee] This salesman was talking technical marketing gibberish well beyond what a reasonable person could understand.
I asked this salesman directly what kind of money this website would generate if I allowed their company to do SEO Marketing, PPC (Pay-Per-Click) and create a blog. The salesman was hesisatant to respond and stated “You should recover our fee in two to three months.” After an agreement to allow e-commexpressnow to promote the website in question, the page title never changed and still is listed in the source-code as the domain name (How can consumers find such a direct word?).
A submission of a picture of the invoice is included with this report as proof of the services included in this marketing package, my name and other contact information is obscured because this is a permanent record. One of the email communications stated that e-commexpressnow would send me monthly updates of how many people have visited this website and the progress of getting this website to #1 on Google. “E-Commerce Express LLC” never sent me anything after charging my credit card and completely dropped out of sight until I called them in May (3 months later) after researching this website online and examining the source code. The web-stats identifies (3) visitors from Facebook and no other activity from any search engine.
It’s apparent that Peak Business Development Inc, E-commerce Express LLC, and the website development company Business Solutions Online Network Inc are all partners in a pyramid scheme to defraud consumers with a work-from-home business opportunity as identified by the Utah Department of Commerce as a top rip off for consumers. Did I mention getting a phone call from E-commerce Express (in April) stating I had signed up for “Coaching” another Rip Off listed with the UT Dept of Commerce?
The first week of June 2014, someone from “Pro-Ad Consultants” called me wanting to promote my business (never heard of them before). After two calls from this company, research was in-order because the first number was blocked from my phone with a “Call Blocker” to stop telemarketers from harassing me with their unreasonable and deceptive offers. The BBB identified “Advanced Advertizing Solutions” whom has an “F” rating due to consumer complaints which identify their physical address at a UPS Store with a corporate picture on their website. The phone number left by a female associate was different from the number on my caller ID and is listed on a phone complaints website. Never do business with a company who hides their identity, the first sign of a Rip-Off.
To Date: These are the charges billed to my personal credit cards at the advice of Peak Business Development Inc and their business partners.
Total investment related to this e-commerce website $7,304 (Not including Credit Card fees). This website is only generating Bad Debt from fraud. It’s never generated any revenue as these online companies indicated before charging me thousands of dollars in service contracts.
Do yourself a favor and not deal with any of these Home Business opportunities, the names change but most of them operate under the same parent company with a script to avoid any legal liability as “Unfair & Deceptive Trade Practices.” Otherwise your phone number will get passed around with every company offering some type of program to make money working from home and in my experience, they are ALL a RIP OFF intended to charge up an insane amount of credit card debt that cannot be disputed due to the shady contract involved and enforceable through Docusign as an electronic signature recorded with your computer IP Address.

My invoice indicates an address to an office building in New Jersy, possibly a parent company.
