Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Provided information as to the available area to place garage to Eagle. They were in a hurry to install building so arrangements were made for them to show up between 7am and 9am at my residence. They did not show up even after they had assured us that we were #1 in line for installation that day. Through a series of calls to them we found out that we were #3 on list and they might be able to get to location after lunch. That time spent waiting for a crew that did not even advise us was wasted. Finally they called, around noon, and said they could be there in about 20 min. The caller was named Simon - one of three individulas of the work crew. After making arrangement to return to the property the crew arrived and had trouble going up paved driveway. Then the crew said that the building wouldn't fit. Funny that when the individual there asked who was Simon - all three guys answered. Finally it was determined that only one person was named Simon. He was questioned why the building would not fit and he indicated that they needed 4' clear on all sides to work. The main staff at Eagle said 3' is more than sufficient. They said that another sized building would have to be ordered. The person there at the property granting access to the area mentioned that this is a poor time to find out about the sizing issue after them being late. Simon then stuck a clipboard in the face of the person and siad it wasnt his fault that he was there late because noone told him. Then he turned to his other workers and talked to them in Spanish. This left the person feeling uncomfortable. Simon was argumentative and rude.

Contact was made with Eagle to reset a new date with a new building. As of this writing, 3/16/2017, they were supposed to have a crew at the property again. No call after waiting until 8am and eagle indicated that we were now #2 on list because another quick order had come up and was put into the #1 time slot. We did not understand why this happened again. eagle said that the work crew is about 50 miles away and they couldn't get ahold of them. Then the work crew called after the main company expressed our concern and eagle said that they probably can get there at 10:30 and they were not the original crew we had before. The main company called back and said that they likely wont get there until after the noon hour. So, we wait. eagle will call and expect us to be there, regardless of where we come from, within THEIR time schedule.

* Fortunately we will not have Simon and his arrogant partners (supposedly) - see another complainant's report

* Eagle showing up in their "two hour window" is a joke

* Both times they have failed to let us know if they were running late, not going to make it, or what

* There is difficulty in reaching someone at Eagle to really rectify the situation

* If you go through a Metal garage/carport broker - seller, you might want to rethink using eagle even if they are a bit   cheaper. Sometimes you get what you pay for and it is quite possible that the money you will save (maybe only a hundred or so) will be burnt in lost time waiting for a crew to show up, difficulty in reaching Eagle to contact their work crew, and possibly damaged installation parts/poor leveling as you will see in one or more other ripoff reports. However, the installation, in this case has not yet occurred - so, until the work is done, take the damaged materials and shoddy work only as an advisory possibility. Remember too that modifications to the structure, such as leveling, will cost money up front in cash to crew. Get a receipt. take photos of your new structure so that you have evidence to present back to Eagle in the event of further problems.

The deposit was 16% by credit card

The balance due is by cashiers check other than the $125 in cash for cutting legs of structure to level
