Misleaded Big Time! i have been a Easy Home Customer for 3yrs never had any issues with them UNTIL NOW! they promoted this Customer Benifit Package and how great things are about this company if you loose your Job ect that they will cover the payments for you! up to 4 months or 1000.00 wichever occurs first its only about 3.50 extra on your payments, My spouse and I signed up for it as it sounded good and who doesnt need that extra incase something happens! well it happend to me about 6 mths after getting this Customer Benifit Package i had the Worst thing happen I lost my JOB! so i remembered this customer benifit package i went to the store asked them what needed to be done to get the ball rolling they said they would contact them and get me to come in a sign the papers! about 1 week later i had to go in with proof that i was on EI and sign some papers! The manager said we still need a payment we dont know how long this will take! i looked at him with disbelief as he was holding the form that said i applied for unemployement and wouldnt get a payment until my waiting period was over, My Spouse was so upset as they said they would come and pick up and HOLD our stuff! my spouse had to obtain a Pay Day loan just to make a payment! with 1 income that was tough as pay day loans you have to pay back more than what you borrow! so we paid it! then though out the month Easy home cont to call saying they needed a payment that they hadnt heard from the customer benifit program! i stopped them in their tracks when i said i had spoken to the lady that was handling my account and it was approved and they were sending Head Office a check wich would be applied to my account! TOOK almost a month for them to apply it to my account the day before it was applied to my account i went in a made a payment! i told them that as SOON AS THE PAYMENT WAS APPLIED I WANTED TO BE NOTIFIED! i was assured they would call! so i would know when i was covered and how much! 4 days went by no call! so i figured they didnt apply it yet then that Sat i got 2 calls 1 from the Manager and one from an employee stating my account was due i needed to make a payment or they will come and get my stuff! i was furious i called the head office and made a complaint i was told someone would get back to me in 24 hours, after that call i made low and Behold the Manager calls says someone wrote him about questions i had about the account! i went to explain what my concerns were not once of me talking but 3 times he would cut me off and say HOLD! and put me on hold then come back on and say well when we finally got the money and it was applied there is still money owing! i said yes but customer Benifit is paying that last payment! He responded look how long it took to get this one we cant have you not paying for something while waiting for them to send us the money! HOLD! again! then i proceeded to say i was told when he was their that i would be informed of when it was posted to my account and i heard nothing! well we had a bunch of money comming in and well so when can you come in to pay whats owing! totally dodged my Question! i went to say well, HOLD again then he comes back says well this is what i did for you i gave you a week free here and a free time here what ever the hell that is! and a discount for a referal ect! okay but im on the end of the phone i dont have those facts infront of me! for all i know he is blowing smoke into the wind! i said look i told you if i would have been called like i was told i would have tried to come up with some money for you! now your telling me im futher behind! Yes he says over 500.00 WHAT! if you cant come in on fri before 5 we will have to come and Do a pick up and Hold! untill your account is up to date i was mad he said do you have a problem with that amount! ahhh YEAH!! i was so frustrated i hung up and was in tears how do i come up with this amount of money with out them comming to take my stuff! when i have been a good customer for the past 3 yrs with them and now i dont have a Job they want to come take my stuff! when i payed into the customer benifit program! NOT MY PROBLEM IT TOOK THEM 1MTH TO POAST IT TO MY ACCOUNT! and that i was the first person to use this program so they themselves were not sure about it! instead they just promote and sell without knowing nothing themselves about this package, so when its time to use it you think everything is fine and dandy and no problems! NOT!! nothing but headaches harrassing phone calls Managers that dont even listen and jump around questions you have! i have been phyisically and emotionally sick over all this once my account is up to dated still dont know how that is going to happen yet! i know i have a couple things that are close to being paid off once i see and i pay them off! they can come get the rest of the stuff! and i am never going to them again! also everyone i refered to them are behind me and having their stuff returned! as they dont want the same thing happening and they actually care about me not themselves! Easy home as far as im concerend should eat what i owe them on my aggreement consider it paid in full for the mental stress and phyical strain they have put on me! and discrimating against me cause i dont have a Job! as the manager said to me on the phone IS THIS GOING TO CONTIUE TO BE A PROBLEM ON NOT PAYING! no i am paying but not on the dates you want cause i cant! EI comes every 2 weeks! and my spouse has other things to pay for like RENT FOOD and MEDICATIONS! then whats is left we will pay what we can! OHH THATS NOT GOOD ENOUGH WE NEED IT ALL OR WE COME GET THE STUFF!

I REALLY DONT KNOW HOW MUCH MORE MENTAL STRESS EMOTIONAL STRESS I CAN HANDLE FROM THIS COMPANY! I JUST RECENTLY GOT DIAGNOSED WITH HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE! which i never had before! that why i was getting the headaches! that started about 1 mth ago when they have and still continue to call me 2 times a day wanting their money!!

 

CAN ANY ONE HELP ME WITH MY SITUATION
