It's been at least 5 years. However, when I stumbled upon this complaint I had to post my support for Jose because it infuriates me that Michelle Robbins would have the audacity to call Jose a liar to save her own hide!
I wish I had known about this web in 2007. This may be quite a delay, but I need to support Jose's complaint relating to his experience with Michelle Robbins.
Unfortunately, I purchased Michelle Robbins "EASY PRIVATE MORTGAGE" program back in 2006-2007. For $295.00 you received a training manual and marketing materials outlining how to present the "EASY PRIVATE MORTGAGE" concept to sellers as a creative way to attract more buyers to purchase their home.
HOW IT WORKS:
In essence a seller could sell their home to a buyer who is typically, unable to attain traditional financing. This creates a much larger potential buyer pool. The seller finances the buyer and holds a private mortgage note. When the closing date arrives two simultaneous closings take place.
The 1st closing transfers the property to the buyer of the physical property and creates a seller held mortgage note. The 2nd closing transfers the ownership of the seller held note to a "note buyer" in return for the agreed upon price which of course the seller received. This took the seller out of the equation. The seller has the house sold and the cash they need in hand.
Individuals/consumers who purchased Michelle's "EASY PRIVATE MORTGAGE" program became what Michelle refered to as an "EASY MORTGAGE CONSULTANT". An "EASY MORTGAGE CONSULTANT" was basically a "bird dog" who found sellers and presented the "Easy Private Mortgage" concept to them.
If the seller was willing to sell their home through the "EASY PRIVATE MORTGAGE" program the "EASY MORTGAGE CONSULTANT" was instructed to complete a qualifying worksheet and fax it to Michelle's office at Note Funding Resources, LLC. Michelle and her staff would to run the numbers and get back to the "EASY MORTGAGE CONSULTANT" with a price at which Note Funding Resources or one of their note buyer contacts were willing to pay for the seller held mortgage note.
The "EASY PRIVATE MORTGAGE" program guided the "EASY MORTGAGE CONSULTANT" to submit deals to Michelle Robbins and her Note Funding Resources company.
So to be clear... when you purchased the "EASY PRIVATE MORTGAGE" program you were counting on Michelle and Note Funding Resources to be there to submit your deals to as her training program instructed you to.
The "EASY MORTGAGE CONSULTANT" would get paid when the sale of the note was complete.
However, as Jose stated, Michelle "disappeared" for a lack of better words. With no one to submit the deals to the program immediately became useless because no one else in the note buying world was purchasing NON-SEASONED notes.
In my case...within several weeks of the time I purchased the program, I received an email from Michelle informing me "effective immediately", NO more notes would be funded.
I said to myself "This has to be a joke!" I hadn't even gotten started and I just spent $295.00 on this program!
Well, I emailed Michelle about the notice and received no reply. I called Michelle's line at Note Funding Resources and no one answered so I left a voice mail. No reply! I called again and the voice mail box was full. Shortly thereafter, Michelle's business lines were disconnected.
Next I located Michelle's home phone number and left a message on her home voice mail. NO REPLY!!!!! I left voice mails and emails requesting a refund and/or an explanation as to what was going on with no response from Michelle.
So long story, but bottom line is what Jose said is pretty much what I experienced with regards to Michelle Robbins and her "EASY PRIVATE MORTGAGE" scam.
If anyone is NOT telling the truth it's Michelle Robbins who I can't believe had the gall to even post a rebuttal.
Michelle if you read this why don't you let me know how you can be contacted so you, me, Jose and any others slighted can settle this?
Please don't waste your time typing a rebuttal saying I too am not being truthful. You know what really happened or you wouldn't have disconnected your phone lines so abruptly.
(**note: if one Googles Note Funding Resources, LLC you'll see in the Better Business Bureau link that the phone line was disconnected).

Our company, Note Funding Resources, LLC is certainly not in the business of 'selling promoter kits'. We charge $295 for the EMC start up kit, but make very little profit on those sales. In fact, our profit is made on the actual closings of our promoters. In other words if our promoters are not making money, neither are we. The EMC startup kit is very extensive and the small cost for it is certainly justified (it includes an extensive training/marketing manual, home seller brochures, note holder brochures, prospecting postcards, follow-up postcards, customized software diskettes and forms, and power point presentations for marketing). Remember also, that 80% of the time we send out a $100 sign-on bonus to the referring promoter - so our 'profit' on these kits overall is VERY minimal. Finally, it is unfair to not mention that the entire program has a 30 day no-questions-asked refund period. We know that our program works well, but for those that beleive it not to be, can simply return the startup kit for full refund. I don't know of many companies that truly offer this! When prospects order a Free Seller Kit online, they are given the option to either receive instantly online - or can elect to have it mailed to them. Jose (comments above) obviously elected to receive it instantly, online. As a courtesy, we also send the files via email to that prospect and in turn give them yet another opportunity to receive it by mail. If they do not elect to receive it by mail, then we do not send it that way (imagine our costs if we did!). As far as messages not being returned, I find that highly unlikely. Admittedly we are not a nine story building of bankers, but only a group of private investors. Our office is extremely busy and it seems we are always on the phone. However, our calls are always returned (many times by ME personally as I take an active interest in my business) as quickly as possible. In summary, I hope that everyone that comes accross our company (Bill Bowen Associates was a broker that ran the front-office for years, by the way, but not related or employed by us) and our program, finds the service and the product satisfying. This program has actually been around since 1995! We must be doing something right to have survived this long, especially without any blemishes on our reputation with online reporting agencies such as these as well as formal agencies such as the Better Business Bureau. I do apologize for Jose (comments above) if he feels his initials questions weren't answered properly, but considering that he has never used or tried our program, I hardly feel his 'rip-off' report is a fair assessment.
