This company easy way ordering (easywayordering.com) is a online ordering system for restaurants, they have listed menus from alot of restaurants and customers will place orders on the website, and easy way ordering will forward the order to the restaurant.

they also have a credit card processing system. so this guy named Craig (or Greg not sure) claiming to be the "salesman" only, (he latter told me he's the owner). came into my restaurant and offered me his services, and i told him; sorry i already have a other company doing the same service for me. so he said ok, how about you use my credit card processing service? so again i said sorry i already have a processing company i deal with and im very happy with them, so he started saying how about if i get you a better rate? i said if you do get me a lower rate i will switch to your company. so he said fine he took my information and made me sign on a stack of papers, when i asked what i'm signing here he said "its nothing just for the installation of the program on you POS system" and i asked him whats my rate gonna be, he said when he gets back to his office he will work on it and he will call me the next morning with the rate, and if i like the rate, he will mail or fax me the paperwork and when i will return the paperwork signed he will switch me over to his company.

he made it clear to me that until he tells me the rate and he will mail me or fax me the paper work to sign, i'm not under any obligation.

i said great i'm waiting for your call. he never called. a week later i got a package delivery from them with 2 processing terminals, they didn't work, so i put them in my office, and forgot about it, the following month, on my bank statement i saw a charge of $75 from them, i called them up and asked whats the charge for? you guys didn't even install the processor yet in my POS, so they asked me why didn't you call and schedule an appointment for installation? so i told them i didn't know i was supposed to, i'm still waiting for Greg's call to find out my rate, and i was very busy the last few weeks. so they answered "if you ware too busy to call us to schedule a appointment for installation, that's not our fault"

so they keep on charging me $75 a month, and i asked already to cancel they want a $1000 cancellation fee. they claim i agreed on paying the monthly fee (while he never mentioned it to me) on the hidden contract that i was tricked into sign (what i was told by Greg was only the "installation for the POS system") and the $1000 cancellation policy "even if i DID NOT activate/install the service yet" also says on there.

so basically when the salesman (Greg, who turned out to be the owner latter on) came down the first time to me to offer me his services he tricked me into signing a contract without my knowledge.

when i spoke to Greg the owner of the company he told me: by the way if you ever think of reporting my company to the BBB or to RipOffReport.com, i will make sure your restaurant has bad reviews all over the internet till you will go out of business. now he's blackmailing me, harrasing me, and stealing from me!

dear fellow restaurant owners/managers in NYC: NEVER do business with this company they are certified fraudsters! you will have massive headaches from this company. AVOID it. and when the contact you to offer their services RUN!!!

This complaint was filed against the wrong company.  The customer who filed this report purchased
our service from an independent 3rd party (the credit card processor he is referring to is a re-seller).  We never billed this customer, nor did we receive any money from him whatsoever.

If the anonymous complainant can prove otherwise, I will send him a refund check.

Nothing in his comments are relevant to the service or its quality.  This is a billing complaint and quite frankly it sounds like he entered into a contract that he, for whatever reason, did not read.
