Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Are you aware that EcoQuest was recently sold?? Here is the link to the press release: http://www.ecoquestintl.com/dlrdown/website_eqnews/EcoQuestInternationalPR.pdf

The following is the e-mail I sent to the new owner.

Greetings to Mr. Joseph Urso, [email protected]

My e-mail message is brief. I have compiled a lengthy article regarding my experience with Fresh Air purifiers. For an eyeful, please read http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dfvwmwxp_428hff96gd and read to the very end where I comment on lack of Christian values by EcoQuest.

Take an hour (or more) to read all the complaints at the Consumer Affairs web site: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/health/ecoquest.html .

Furthermore, check the reports at RipOffReports: http://www.ripoffreport.com/searchresults.asp?q1=ALL&q4=&q6=&q3=&q2=&q7=&searchtype=0&submit2=Search!&q5=Ecoquest .

Visit e-Bay and see how many air purifiers are listed for sale at greatly reduced prices. I am guessing that disillusioned distributors are trying to recover some money for their overpriced inventory. I, too, have an inventory that may never sell.

I sincerely hope, and pray, that Aerus Holdings can turn EcoQuest to an honorable company.

Lorraine, you need to read your owners manual

Lorraine, I have been with EcoQuest for 10 year and after reading your comments I decided to check out your blog and was shocked by your comments. Did you bother to read your owners manual or read the LCD screen on your Fresh Air? Do you know the owners manual and the LCD screen on your Fresh Air "clearly" state "not" to turn the Unit up more than the square footage of the room the unit is in. These Products are extremely safe, meet all EPA, FDA, OSHA and CARB requirements on Ozone Levels for occupied spaces. These Products have been tested for their effectiveness on common bacteria and molds by Kansas State University and have been tested for particel reduction by the University of Cincinatti. These tests have also been through the peer review process, published and bottom line our Products do "exatcly" what we say they do! Can a Product be misused like it seem you have? Absolutely yes, any product can be misused!! I suggest you take the time to educate yourself by checking out the following Links: http://www.ecoquestintl.com/dlrdown/website_infolibrary/OzoneUsedForAirPurification.pdf http://www.understandingozone.com/ It's amazing how many people will tear down a Product or Company without doing the proper research or attempting to learn how to use the Product. A perfect example is Lorraine's comments in her Blog. Lorraine, you are misusing are NOT using your Fresh Airs according to the Manufacturers instructions!!! Lorraines Blog Comments: I have a small inventory of units. In a central location (on top of the refrigerator) in the combination kitchen-living room, I placed a Fresh Air unit and cranked it up to maximum (3000 square feet). My allergy symptoms did not go away, in fact they got worse!! So I turned on a second unit--in one of the bedrooms--and set it at 3000 square feet. Bottom Line don't beleive everything you read on the internet!!!!

After 19 years working in the corporate world, many as management, dealing with corporate executives, owners, and back stabbing management, it is both sad and amusing to read comments about EcoQuest and their management. To put it point blank for everyone to read, I have never been associated with a such an exceptional leadership team. They are a model for every other company in America. And now EcoQuest has taken the leadership to an all new level by becoming part of Aerus. For those of you who are not familiar with Aerus, think of the Electrolux Vacuums. I read comments about this and that and I think to myself, "What kind of hurtful, shallow minded person writes this stuff?" I have dealt with many who will say these things and it always comes back to the same type of person. This is a person who felt they would become a business owner and all instantly become successful...without the work! Or they had one or two setbacks when someone didn't buy their product and "This doesn't work...it's just a scam!" To them I say, and to everyone else, THIS IS A BUSINESS, NOT A PAYCHECK! If you want to be successful, then you need to do what successful people do. And I can honestly say not even ONE successful person had this business handed to them. They worked for it! As for the product, I challenge anyone to show me another product that can do what these air products can do. Are they perfect? Why would you expect them to be. Although I can say the quality is incredible compared to other products on the market and the warranties on these products are exceptional. Last, I hear from different people about the stories they have read on websites like this and how they could never be associated with a company like EcoQuest. My suggestion to you is to please look up other products you use in your home and ask yourself if you would be associated with those companies as well. EcoQuest is not perfect, it is a growing company and with any growing company there are growing pains. In this day and age there are more people looking for excuses and reasons to tear something down, then they are looking for ways out of what they are currently in and trying to make something better then what it currently is. And as for the people who claim they were ripped off by EcoQuest, I can sum you up in one statement made by Ken Blanchard in the book The One Minute Manager, "There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you are interested in doing something, you do it only when it is convenient. When you are committed to something, you accept no excuses." Successful people are committed.
