To all expectant mothers who plan to give birth at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. BEWARE OF EILEEN SHEA, RN.

This evil woman lied to me and continued the adminstration after i demanded that it be discontinued of a potentialy dangerous drug when I was 34 weeks pregnant and had a severe reaction to it.

After I started vomiting and nearly choked to death on my own vomit I told the medical staff to stop the IV infusion of Magnesium sulfate. Initially they did stop it, but a 1/2 hour later she sneaked into my room and started hanging a new IV bag, when I asked her what it was she claimed it to be an antibiotic, I asked why i required a second antibiotic as i already knew one bag of Ampicillin was up, and she muttered something about it being standard procedure.

A few minutes later I started feeling ill again and with what little strength I had I got up to look at the bag she had just hung and plain as day on a piece of tape was written MGSO4 (the chemical symbol for Magnesium Sulfate) I rang the bell asked why she had lied to me, she didn't deny it and accused me of trying to hurt my baby. I demanded to be discharged. And later when I tried to file complaints against her with the State of NY. I found out that she had falsified my records, and NY state has a rule that anything in a medical record is considered the truth.

This woman is dangerous. I plan to sue her and the hosptial. Whether I win or not I want everyone to know DO NOT TRUST HER WITH YOUR BABY'S LIFE!
