ELEPHANT COMMUNICATIONS ripoff tricked and lied to us South Plainfield New Jersey
Elephant Communication made it seem like we were in dire need of a cell phone upgrade because Cingular was upgrading to a Global system and none of our phones would work. They offered cheap free phones. I told them I purchased a 6340I two weeks ago from Cingular and they did not mention this to me.
They neglected to tell me that my numbers would chnge and they would now be out of an office that would be atoll call to me from my home. The package came with all the warning letters of early termination etc. I called them on this, 2 1/2 hours later, after yelling and screaming, they finally said send them back. I am still waiting to be sure they do not charge me for anything, as it seems that Cingular is not upgrading in my area yet. They probably wont be for about a year or so. The report subitted by someone from maryland, sounds like the same company.
