I was sold what I thought was a healthy "Champion Sired AKC English Bulldog" from Dmitri of Elitebully.com. This puppy was purchased for my son's 7th birthday in March. It was my son's desire to have an English Bulldog. After searching long and hard for a reputable company I found Elitebully.com. I called the owner, Dmitri, and asked a series of questions about the company and pups he was selling. These questions were aimed at their "One Year Health Guarantee", "Money Back Guarantee", "AKC Registration Papers" and "Bloodline Papers." The seller told me and reassured me that I was about to purchase a healthy Champion Sired Bulldog that was registered with AKC but I needed to purchase the papers first. He also promised that the puppy would be in good health and that if it did get sick or die within the first year they would honor the "One Year Health Gurantee" and send me a replacement puppy.

We made arrangements for the puppy to be flown in on time for my son's birthday party - it was a surprise. When the attendants finally brought the puppy to me she was covered in green nasal drainage. This was coming from her nose, eyes and was in her mouth and she was coughing profusly, especially when she got excited. Her crate was saturated in urine... which I figured was normal due to the hour long flight. I immediately called the seller, Dmitri, and told him that the puppy looked sick and was acting sick. He assured me that the puppy was just that way due to the flight but I needed to have her checked out by my vet... This was Saturday afternoon.

The following Monday, I took my puppy to my vet and he noticed that the green drainage was so severe he worried that it might be the start of Distemper since the drainage was very green and her cough was very bad. He also noticed that the pup had a skin rash and had scabs around her neck area. He put the puppy on antibiotics for three weeks. He said if her condition worsened to call because it could be serious.

Four weeks later, the puppy started having convulsions, she wouldn't eat, she was vomitting and had diariah and had extreme green nasal drainage. She was very sick. That night I called the emergency care at my veternarian's office and spoke to the doctor on call. She explained that the puppy was infact demonstrating positive signs of distemper in the last stages and that the puppy needed to be put down. The next morning I took the puppy in to see my regular vet and he confirmed what was said the previous night. He gave me two options; one, was to put the puppy to sleep or two, to put the puppy in the hospital to see if she would get better. I called the company and spoke to Dmitri about it and he was convinced that paying $500 dollars for treatment was better that having to pay for my full refund. So he did.

My puppy is not even six months and she has been hospitalized for distemper, has been to the vet 5 times for this reacurring sickness, has developed two cherry eyes and more recent has been diagnosed with DEMODEX Red Mange. The owner promised to me on the phone about two weeks ago that he was going to replace my puppy and do whatever it takes to help with this "sick puppy" he sold me. He even admitted to selling me a puppy with a poor immune system. Since then he has failed to reply to my emails, phone calls and has not returned any messages. This has put a strain on my family emotionally and financially not to mention what the puppy has to go through every day. My son is continually worried and crying because he thinks his puppy will die. Every week that passes we are having to spend more money to treat her due to the same symptoms. She has also recently started to snort while eating and snores at night because her breathing passages are bad.

Not to mention, the seller had been giving me the run around as per the AKC Registration papers. I was forced to contact AKC with regard to this and explained to them that we (the buyer) are having to pay $100 for the registration papers. They told me it is against the law for the breeder to charge for registration papers. In fact a representative from AKC explained to me that they have no real ties to Elitebully.com because their dogs come from a puppymil in Russia and that they try to get their pups AKC registered but can not because the FCI Russian Registration is not transferrable.

This COMPANY is FALSLY ADVERTISING Champion Sired AKC Registered puppies that are SICK and have been illegally charging their customers for papers they DO NOT EVER provide. I am writing this because I know that I am not the first that this has happened to and I want this company to pay for all the damage they have caused family's accross the US that have taken out loans to pay for what they thought were health puppies, who have had their children pay emotionally and their family's financially. I have contacted several attorney's to help with this process. I just need more of you to come forth if this has happened to you.

Please reply and help me put a stop to this puppymil outfit.

Thanks!
