Emerson Financial Huge rip off by emerson financial New York New York
i was scammed on june 2, 2008 out of $2700 off up front fees from this company. i found their website online and applied. the next day i got a email notification to contact them at 866-822-0936 by a person of scott tillman. as we were discussing the application he said they work with private lenders. they found a company that would approve but based on my credit i had to send a secuity deposit of 1700 to secure the first year of payments. i was suppose to get my loan of $10,000 the next day. i checked my account and nothing was deposited. i got a call back by a david in customer service. he said they ran into a problem with my loan and said the lender wanted me to send another $1000.00 to secure the loan. i told them i could not come with that. he said they would try to see if they could give me a credit. i sent them another $1000.00 once again i was suppose to receive my loan. i did not and then i received a call from george house he was suppose to be the senior executive manager and said they would not be able to give me my loan. i asked for my refund. he said i was set to get refund of the $2700 on july 15th. i tried calling the number they gave me and it is no longer in service. so now i have no way to get hold of anybody. i am scared as they have my contact and personal information. i sent both payments through a moneygram at a walmart. if you seen anything like this or a company asking for up frt fees do not do it. now i am really behind in bills and my credit is getting worse. please dont be a another victim. be careful about getting a loan.
