Let me address your over stated concerns, and understated facts. First, the old adage, there are some people you can never satisfy, would certainly apply here. As I check your records, your process was simple, convenient and resulted in you getting one of the dates you selected...just as the terms stated you would. You had every reason to trust Costco, because in actuality, you received exactly what was promised....3 days 2 nights at your choice of destination and your choice of dates...I believe the date you are confirmed for is one of the original dates you provided, isn't it? The book you purchased first of all has nothing to do with us, it was offered by another company who chose to use our Getaway as a reason to purchase...and the cost was $39 not $60...it really is not unusual for a company to use an incentive to purchase their item. The booking fee as you classified is room tax for 2 nights, and just like ANY hotel reservation, if you dont show, or cancel by 6:00 pm the night of arrivial, they are going to charge your credit card....in our case, you forfeit the $50 to offset if you chose to be irresponsible.. Regarding the return of your deposit, not sure what's confusing, since in your reproduced words, it states...WITHIN 90 DAYS OF COMPLETING YOUR TRAVEL, completing being the optimum word... Finally, there are no words on any materials that state the $24 rebooking fee would be forfeited...it states that rebooking is not an option, and if you cancel, your forfeit the taxes that were paid as a booking fee.. Perhaps you should consider spending more time learning how to interpret the english language, that spewing your ignorance to the public about a company that has taken care of every request you had, following every term and condition stated... Enjoy your trip...... Michael Gelber Vice President Sales & Business Development
