Internet marketing company Home Check sold me placement on their website for marketing leads with a 30-day money back guarantee. After failing to produce any leads after 2 weeks, I cancelled the service and requested a refund of $500 (Dec 2017). The salesman, Jarvis Pledge, stated that he would process the refund immediately but it would take 2-3 weeks. After waiting 3-4 weeks with no refund, i called Jarvis and he stated that he would process the refund again. 3-4 weeks later no refund and the same excuse.

Jarvis even stated that he would talk with the vice president on the issue and would get me my refund. After 4 months of no refund he stopped taking my calls and never returned my messages. I called from a different phone and he immediately answered. Again he stated that he was sending an email to accounting and I asked for a copy of the email, never received it. The parent campany is Enlighten Technologies (www.enlightentech.net) with several other websites listed. All websites have the same contact number, Jarvis Pledge. Looks like a multi website scam where all they do is take your money to add your name to a website.

This Client was granted the refund of the full amount that was paid to Enlighten Technologies. The individual whom ignored the customers request for a refund is no longer with our company.

Although the refund should have been given promptly with in the 30 days, unfortunetly the employee did not do as they where supposed to. And this issue has been resolved with the termination of said employee and by granting the refund the customer requested. 

We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused this client. And hope that they know that this is not how our company handles buisness as a whole.

I am not an employee of this company, however we each clearly have had a diffrent experiance with this company... I am sorry that yours was not the best however I have gotten buisness from them and until it stops I will keep renewing with them.

Sound like you are an employee of the company. The point is not whether it works for some people or does not work for others. The point is that they signed me up with the promise of a 100 percent money back within 30 days. I cancelled after 2 weeks and never got my refund. Even after they told me they were processing my refund, which was a lie, I have never received my refund. I ask all my callers where they got my number from and have never had anyone tell me Home Check. I stand behind my complain thaat  they are  big rip-off.

Hello, My name is Joey and I am located in Brooklyn New York.

I have been a memeber of Homecheck for about 4 years, and I have obtained a good 20-30 jobs from this service at least.... And thats well worth it for the price of my memebership each year! they Do NOT charge you per job you get from them, although I can tell you two weeks is not long enough to try the service as I did not obtain my first client from them for about 2 months.  Also If you where to go through a place like homeadvisor your going to be way more dissapointed!!!

They charged me $35.00 everytime i called a lead they sent me and most all the time it was bogus crap!! and i paid an additonal $700.00 for my membership in total around $1200.00 dollars I lost to them!! With Homecheck I pay $500.00 a year and thats it! Only down side to the program is that they cant tell you how many jobs they have sent you because they allow the customer to choose thier inspector and dont do any type of 3rd party interfering but they do give you a dahsboard to keep track of clients requesting your info. 

So if you can keep track of where your clients found you you shouldnt have an issue with this service.!!  I cant speak for anyone else, but I have had a pleasent experiance with them thus far.
