Epoxy Garage Specialist Epoxy Garage Guy, INC are not honest and conduct unethical, if not illegal, tax practices Murrieta, California
Epoxy Garage Specialist quoted a total price to me of $1399.00. On the day they were to complete the project Mike called and reminded me to leave a $1399.00 check for them. Upon completion they gave me a invoice for $1473.50. They had added $74.50 in tax for materials. I asked for a bill of materials but they could not provide one. I spoke with Mike and he said it was a mistake and the additional check I gave for $74.50 would not be cashed and would be destroyed. They cashed the $74.50 anyway, clearing on 21-Feb-10. Later Mike said he would refund the $74.50 but that never arrived. During our initial call Mike had explained to me the difference from their service and the Rustoleum (Home Depot) version of Garage Floor Epoxy. Mike explained he would be using close to $400.00 of materials. The tax amount of $74.50 would be for about $851.00 of materials that they cannot produce a bill of materials for. Epoxy Garage Specialist (Epoxy Garage Guy, INC.) are not honest and conduct unethical, if not illegal, tax practices.
