Europa Online Cars Purchased a '92 Volvo 240 from Europia Online ,aka Cars of NE Corp, cars via ebay.com. The car was advertised being in "immaculate and excellent mint condition." The car was not delivered in such condition. Rather there were MANY problems Trevose Pennsylvania
Purchased a 1992 Volvo 240 from Europa Online (aka Cars of North East Corp.) via ebay.com on Feb. 11, 2010. The car was advertised by the defendant as being in "immaculate and excellent condition", "AC blows ice cold", and "No Rust Anywhere!"
When the car was delivered the radio, window wash pump, shifter box, air conditioning system and car audio speakers were not working and have since been replaced or repaired at significant cost.
Further the car arrived from the defendant with two dime sized spots on the trunk with missing paint and rusted, approximately 12 inch long dent in the passenger rear door, and replacement and peeling trim on the exterior.
I will seek damages resulting from misrepresentation of the condition of the car. I had to make repairs and replacements required as they were deliberately omitted and factually incorrect in the Europa's advertisement.

4/16/2010 - Parts and Labor only due to listed problems $1810.81
Once my mechanic and I realized not only did the system need replacing but so did another line. There was also no refriderant.

If I do no hear from the owners of Europa Online/Cars of NE Corp, I will file suit against you. This company is still active on Ebay with over 2300 sales.

These people may well have misrepresented this car but wouldn't it have been worthwhile to go see it before you bought it?
If you can't see it first, don't buy it. I've read about many of these sorry tales of woe and it just seems like a problem waiting to happen to buy a car unseen. There are enough things that can go wrong with a used car you can see from an ethical dealer.
