Evonne Denney - Buypuppiesnow.org - Diamond Acre Kennels. Do NOT Buy From Her! Sold me a very unhealthy kenneled Sphynx cat who was supposed to be registered, and is NOT Lavon Texas
I answered an ad from Evonne Denney about a Female Adult Sphynx with breeding rights and full CFA registration. We exchanged quite a few emails over the course of about a week and spoke on the phone a couple of times, she seemed like a very nice, honest lady.. I have since found out that she is NOT. I received the Sphynx cat on February 22nd via Alaskan Airlines. After Evonne had her husband Gary drop the cat off at the airport she THEN sends me an email stating that the cat wasnt actually hairless, and that she was keeping her in an unheated (during winter months) kennel so she grew a fur coat!! Sphynx cats do not and are NOT supposed to have a coat, but due to her lack of care she did infact grow fuzz all over her body. She also stated in the email that she didnt send the registration papers along with cleo (the cat) because she was afraid that they could get lost. (not sure how that would happen unless the cat was lost all together its self) That was my first sign of "uh-oh" this doesnt sound right"

I have since called her repeatedly and left her several messages asking if she has or will send the papers.. her excuses are always, sorry, I thought I sent them but I found them in my purse still .. sorry Ive been so sick... sorry I have 5 kids and they are sick.. sorry I cant answer my phone my throat is sore. She then tells me how insensitive and how uncaring I am to her family, she then tells me how religious she is and how terrible I am for not giving her more time.
Of course I am not going to be NICE at this point.. she is a terrible breeder and I would hope that she will not be able to scam one more person.
I am sure she will have a rebutle about this, as every other complaint on this site has a ~fun~cutesie ~ rebutle.
I will be contacting her local law enforcement and also the ASPCA - hopefully she cant scam one more family.

I never got my papers... and my dog needed surgery as soon as I got her!

Well it's nice to know that someone got their papers they were promised. I'm still waiting on my French Bulldog's AKC papers and it's been almost 2 years! Not to mention that Evonne and Gary shipped her to the wrong airport (b/c it was cheaper for them) even though I paid to have her sent to the airport closer to me. I was not even notified of the airport change until my dog arrived at the wrong airport and was receiving phone calls from the airport staff about picking up my dog. Also, I was told my dog had a minor scratch on her back from trying to get under a fence... A COMPLETE LIE! She arrived with a quarter sized growth on her back that had to be surgically removed a week after I got my poor dog. Everything Evonne feeds you is a lie. She does NOT breed animals... she imports them and re-sells them. My dog was in such poor condition when I got her (fleas, overgrown nails, bi-lateral ear infections, worms, and a tumor). Not to mention, I am a veterinary technician so I know a neglected dog when I see it. Evonne, if you read this, I'm still waiting for a response... apparently the million messages left on your phone, the certified letter, and the emails aren't enough to get your attention. And don't worry, I've already sent a report to the Texas attorney general :) and apparently, I'm not the first person to do this. All I know is whatever religion you practice let me know, I would never want to be a part of that load of crap you feed people. I'm curious what religion supports lying, cheating, stealing, animal abuse, etc. All I know is that I feel sorry for your kids... what a poor example you set for them.

OHhhh my GOODNESS!!!!!!! I am sooo Sorry~ for taking 3 weeks to get papers out to this lady,,,it was like the complete end of the world for her I guess!!!! YES~ when your raising 5 Children,,,LIFE is~ BUSY & things happen & get Hectic!!!! sooo SORRY~!!! And this lady obviously has NEVER~ even had a Sphynx before,,,b/c YES~ they DO~ hair up when they are not Fixed,,& are in Heat!!!! Anyhow,,,I DO~ have Proof of the fact that she DID~ receive her Registration papers!!! People can be sooo Silly,,& sooooooo IMPATIENT!!!! Geeezzz!!!
