This is a Rebuttal to the outrageous accusations from Hallie **** an active appraiser whom is also, a Real Estate Broker who is not affiliated with any Local or National Real Estate Association.
In response to ****'S accusatory comments, we have conducted extensive research into this matter and find all of what **** has indicated in her report to be unfounded and without merit. We contacted both hard working public teachers doing their job, trying to locate homes for their family and they indicated that they were under a buyer broker/retainer agreement with Exit Premier Realty and agent Lisa Bell. I have requested a letter in regards to the relationship and events to this matter as they unfolded, which I have in my possession. My findings indicate that Ms. Bell nor her clients did nothing wrong as it relates to standard operating procedures with real estate agents and their clients.
Now although, it is not common for clients to view properties with other agents it was incumbent upon Hallie **** to ascertain that information as it relates to other agents or brokers prior to showing property. Ms. Bell was totally oblivious that her client had viewed property with another agent. This situation reveals the inexperience of appraiser Hallie **** and part-time real estate broker who has not sold any property in the last ten years (according to records). **** should have never showed property without first trying to get customers to at least sign a one-day buyer broker agreement, which would have revealed that they were committed to another agent. Once she found out that these wonderful school teachers were in fact clients of another agent, she became immediately disgruntle and exasperated and began to find the best way to tarnish all parties involved which leads us to this ridiculous report.
Now **** since she is not a member of any Association of Realtors cant file any ethical complaints because she is not a member and she knows that any ethics panel would vindicate these ridiculous accusations. Once I returned ****'s call in regards to this matter, she indicated via phone that she added my name to this ridiculous report because I did not return her phone call right away. I manage an office of 150 agents, and it does take a little time to research complaints made against any of my agents. This appraiser and part time real estate broker is the most disrespectful broker that I have ever spoke to in ten years of doing real estate. Furthermore, when we talk about record; Edward Cunningham has settled over 500 transactions and never had a real estate complaint in MD/DC/VA. from any customers or clients. We will be filing defamation of character lawsuit against Hallie **** . **** must realize that you cannot just arbitrarily make public complaints against people who take their business and careers very seriously because of her asinine mistakes. She obviously as a broker need some additional training on the importance of establishing a buyer broker agreement prior to showing property.
If anyone has any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please feel free to contact me.

Neither myself--Lisa Bell, nor my broker--Ed Cunningham have ever done anything to ripoff Ms Hallie Stone.
Hallie wrote and posted her rip off report about me Lisa Bell and my broker Ed Cunningham without knowing all of the facts surrounding my business relationship with Ms Joy Newman as Joy Newman's realtor.
At the time that Ms. wrote and posted her report, I had been working with Joy Newman as Joy Newman's realtor for more than two years. I met Joy Newman at an open house that I was hosting and at Joy Newman's request, I began e-mailing Joy Newman available home listings and occasionally taking her out to view some of the homes.
I have never met Ms Hallie and was only made aware of Ms acquaintance with Joy Newman, via a fax message from Ms Stone AFTER Ms wrote and posted her ripoff report about me.
While Ms states she contacted the Prince George's County Association of Realtors and that she left a voice mail message for Ed Cunningham my broker, Ms does not mention that she NEVER tried to contact me prior to posting her report.
Ms does not mention that after she left a voice mail message for my broker, she waited only a couple of hours before she wrote and posted her report claiming my broker ignored her instead of admitting she didn't give him a chance to respond.
I became aware of Ms ripoff report only after Ms faxed a copy of the report to my office. I asked Joy Newman about her involvement with Ms. . Joy Newman told me that Ms. introduced herself to Joy Newman as an appraiser.
I checked and it is true. Ms. Hallie is a licensed real estate appraiser. In Ms report, Ms does NOT mention the fact that she, Ms Hallie is a licensed appraiser and that she operates as both a realtor and an appraiser using the exact same business address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address. In addition, when I checked my local MLS system, I didn't find any evidence that Ms Stone has ever sold any homes.
While it is possible that some home buyers will talk to more than one realtor during the home buyer's search process of finding a home, I cannot be totally certain that Ms Joy Newman did in fact talk to Ms Hallie in the capacity of Ms being a realtor since Ms is indeed a licensed appraiser just as Joy Newman told me when I inquired about Joy Newman's relationship with Ms .
At the time that Ms report was first posted I chose not to respond publicly on this site because I knew Ms version of events was not totally accurate and also because Joy Newman had written her own response to Ms Hallie Stone's ripoff report and sent that response to my broker Ed Cunningham.
Since some of my clients have recently brought Ms 's report to my attention, I find myself having to publicly respond to Ms 's incredibly slanted version of events. While I do not know for certain what may or may not have occurred between Ms Hallie and Joy Newman, I can honestly say that myself and Ed Cunningham have never done anything to ripoff Ms Hallie Stone.
I consider all of my time to be precious. I do not like having to devote any of my time to anything I consider to be foolish and I certainly do not like being falsely accused of anything scandalous.
As a result, I wasn't quite sure how to respond to Ms 's report. Then I remembered one of life's most basic lessons: don't allow anyone the opportunity to make you STOOP DOWN to their level. With that mind, I will not say anything malicious about Ms and her decision to hastily write and post a ripoff report about me and my broker without ever trying to contact me and without researching all of the facts surrounding my business relationship with Ms Joy Newman.
I will, however, stress once more that neither myself--Lisa Bell, nor my broker--Ed Cunningham have ever done anything to ripoff Ms Hallie .
I would hope that if Ms had the opportunity to rewind time to the day she posted her ripoff report about me that she would choose not to make her posting.
Sincerely,
LB
