By placing the word "on" in their terminology, they have stated only that cancellations made "on" that date will be charged. However, they have not stated that cancellations made earlier will not, so you should perhaps have queried them. Did it not strike you as incredibly unlikely that they were only charging for cancellations over a 12 hour period? The wording of the statement favours you, but it is blatantly obvious what the intention was, and that does not favour you. I think you're just trying to worm out of something you knew very well you were liable for, on a technicality.

Thank you Giselle, I am being supported already thru a few of other companies, looks like Expedia has an error in the way they worded their cancellation policy.

Pam, I'm not familar with Expedia, but if you did what you were suppose to do and were within their cancellation guidelines, I'd dispute the charge with my cc as well as submit a copy of their cancellation policy as further proof.

November 25th IS before Noon on December 1st. Nowhere does it say ONLY on December 1st before noon you will be charged $25.00. Seems pretty clear to everyone but you.

Is anyone getting this? The cancellation policy says cancellations made before 12pm ON December 1st are subject to a $25.00 fee. I cancelled on November 25th. Its not stating cancellations made BY or BEFORE December 1st. The word ON December 1st clearly states that day. Theres nothing in writing that says BY December 1st or BEFORE December 1st. Its states BEFORE 12pm ON December 1st.

As stated in first time you posted this by someone else. The rules CLEARLY state: Cancellations or changes made before 12:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time) on 12/1/2005 are subject to a $25.00 penalty. You changed and/or cancelled within that window and got popped with a 25.00 fee for doing so. I see no problem here whatsoever. I cannot stress enough to read all rules and regs BEFORE you purchase so you know what you're getting into.
