Oct. 8, 2016: Expedia booked a room for me under a non-cancelable, non-refundable rate.  $139.91 taken immediately from my bank account.  I received (2) emails stating "Room is booked, no need to call and confirm."  Arrived within 1.5 hrs. of booking.  Desk clerk stated "I am sorry Mr. C, we told Expedia we had no rooms available.  You will have to call them yoursefl."  Called in parking lot of hotel.  On hold about 20-30 minutes.  Told me all superiors had been notified by email, all was in place to recieve my money back within 3-5 days.

Oct. 14, 2016:  No email or refund.  Call.  30 minutes on hold to be told basically the same as above.

Oct. 21, 2016:  No email, no refund.  Call. 30 minutes on hold.  Told all is in place.  You should receive a confirmation email soon.  A few hours later received an email stating the the booking is non-refundable and there is nothing we can do for you, sorry for the inconvenience.

Oct. 27, 2016:  No email or refund, no further correspondence.

When did we make it legal to take money for something that never existed from a person or people who followed every one of the rules and did nothing wrong.  Well passed pissed off!
