We have been with Fairbanks Capital for only a few months and it has been nothing but a hassle. We received one statement a couple of weeks ago for the month of June but it was dated for April. That is the only statement we have received in four months. I have complained several times to the company and still nothing has been done.

Fairbanks capital constantly calls our home wanting payment information and is unwilling to work with my payday schedule. I have done check by phone with them and just recently they sent a letter saying I sent them an invalid account and added another fee. My account should be in their computer system since they call for it every month. They have also threatened to report my name to the credit bureau if I did't send a payment by as specific date.

I am constantly being ambushed with fees. Late fees, check by phone fee, wrong account information fee, and any other fee they can think of.

Every month I receive a letter stating they can take my home if they don't receive a payment by a certain date.

I can guarantee you they have reported you to the credit bureaus whether you are late or not. I am also trying to refinance and since I started this process they have not sent me a statement. When I call they tell me they are checking into it and continue to send my payments. Which I cotinue to do. I have asked for a payoff amount as well. Even though my payments are sent in on time they will report you late because they post the payments after the grace period. They tell you there is nothing they can do about it their computer system automtically does it. I have written to every credit bureau and asked them to add a statement about this predatory lender. Check this site to see if any attorney in your state has a class action suit and join in. Almost every state does. Contact everyone you can I wish all of us good luck.

Fairbanks is a company with a reputation for fraud. Do not attempt to rectify any situation with them. They will strip your home of any equity and send you to bankruptcy court to save your home, or threaten you with foreclosure and false forebearance agreements. Your fees will be overwhelming and you will lose your home whether you pay them or not. You are early into the con game and are being given advice my family learned the hard way. The fees will never stop being added. You will get further and further behind. This is a con game they have ran on hundreds of people. We lost our home valued at $200,000 they stole $54,000 in equity and sold our house for $144,000 to one of their own people and have just recently listed and sold it for $215,000. They will say they have all these options but FB has one goal in mind, to get your house. Do a search and read all the stuff on WBALTV, type in morttage fraud fairbanks capital. Good luck. They will try to stop any refinance efforts. I know it is your home, however if you want to walk out of this train wreck in one piece get out now.
