Fairview Logistics - Dudes Trucking - Dude And Bev Van Huevin Puts Screws To Another Driver Cheated out of money Charged for missing CB complete RIPOFF Sunburg Minnesota
I worked for this company and busted my hump to make my deliveries on time with equipment that was far from working properly.
Let me begin by saying that when I first started with them they treated me fair allright, wouldn't allow me but $100.00 for an advance to eat on for the first 2 weeks. (for you mathmaticians thats $50.00 a week).
I stayed out for 3 weeks without coming home (by choice) because I THOUGHT I was getting paid for it.
When the third truck I was driving finally broke down in Memphis, TN, I was sent with another driver (who bobtailed down there) with another truck to deliver the load I had.
When I came home I turned my paperwork in and was expecting my check to be ready by the following friday. When I got it and saw all the deductions I was more than shocked. Here is a list of things they took out of my check:
1. $225.00 to detail the first truck Because I smoked in it
2. $225.00 to detail the second truck because I smoked in it.
3. $300.00 for a missing CB radio!! (the radio in questionwas a Uniden PC 66 that was about 10 years old, and when I asked why so much for the radio, the reply was "well he has to come off of work to come and install the radio, and my reply to that was it takes 10 minutes to install a radio." Now the county sheriff is involved and they are trying to file criminal charges against me.
4. $125.00 to clean and detail the final truck I drove for them.
In the end, I was supposed to be paid $1347.00 for my final trip with them, my last check was $202.22 after deductions.
Dude and Bev are nothing but crooks if you ask me, and they should have charges filed against them.
I am actually glad that i don't drive for them anymore, now I won't have to worry about making my delivery on time with busted equipment.
If you want to drive for them, I'm sure they will hire you, just be warned that you will be a victim too in the end.
