Famous Poets Society ripoff disappointing aggrivating Internet
Well to start i wrote a poem to one of my boyfriends who was in jail at the time. I got on the internet and a pop came up advertising the Famous Poets Society. I said what the heck, what could it hurt? So i sent it off.
About a week later i got a letter in the mail saying that they were publishing my poem and they were having the Ceremony in Orlando, Florida at Disney Land. I had made plans to go and worked around my work schedule and everything and then something came up to where i couldn't. They said in the letter they were going to give me a Plaque, i was going to be able to read my poem in front of the whole ceremony, and get the book at the ceremony for free, i would just have to give them $30.00, they didn't tell me what i needed it for and i would have to pay for the trip to Florida.
Its just a big scam.
