Total: so far $1347.95 This company represented itself as a legal help advocacy group. After we paid the fees and had the initial conversation they became hard to reach.
We paid $ 300 to have the papers expedited. We had to send them back for corrections. The returned papers still had mistakes. We corrected the mistakes ourselves to avoid any further delay. When we sent the papers to the court as instructed by them they were returned to us by the court because they were incorrect. The instructions they sent were unclear and incorrect. Our papers we sent to the Sheriff's department in the same case were also returned for being incorrect. We followed the instructions they mailed to us.
We were told we would have a caseworker assigned to us that would help us thru the case. Since our initial conversation with Beau Hobbs, we have had NO case manager assigned to us despite repeated calls to the company.
I have requested a refund several times. Their answer was to have us speak to the supervisor Tom Hutchison. He has only returned one phone call, at 10:30pm on a Sunday and we have not heard from him since. We have spoken with the court involved in this matter and they informed us that we should have submitted papers with the original paperwork for the hearing. We should have been made aware of this by our non-existent caseworker. We never had a "Coaching Call" and our hearing was on Sept 2nd. We were totally on our own for court.I feel this company misrepresented who they are and what they could provide.
Also we never received our pre trial coaching phone call.
I have asked for my money back several times with no success.
