Signed 5 yr service contract on Maytag range with double gas ovens. Top oven not reaching temperature. Local repair company was sent out on service call - supposedly fixed oven (replaced igniter). Few months later, bottom oven not lighting at all. Different serviceman from same co. came out (June 25). Replaced igniter in top oven and two in bottom oven. Said 1st serviceman did not properly install igniter so all the shorted out. BUT he also managed to break door hinge while repairing bottom oven. Said service co. would call when hinges were received. Two weeks later top oven not reaching proper temperature. Called to find out status of hinges 7/24 and told never ordered, they need new authorization from Federal Warranty. Call Federal Warranty and ask for different service provider since these have been so BAD. Told they will not change service provider until they finish repair. I pointed out that at this rate, the repair may never be finished since they keep breaking other parts of the stove. Federal will under no condition change service provider - no choice in the matter. I am stuck with these incompetent jokers for 5 years.
