I worked for Fein, Such, Kahn & Shepard, P.C. for three years and I am not surprised. This firm makes most of their money from home foreclosures in NY and NJ and debt collections. What I saw from working there is that they add outrageous 'attorney fees and costs' to debt collections, foreclosure payoffs, and foreclosure reinstatements. They send out notices threatening garnishment, bank account holds, and warrants for debtor's arrest without even speaking with them. They overage debtors for the background research they do on them as well. For example, there is a type of search FSK&S does to find the current mailing address of their debtors, this search costs them less than a dollar per debtor to run and FSK&S then charges the debtor $75.00 for the search that just cost the firm next to nothing. Beware of this law office, they only care about their bottom line.
