Complaint Review: FERNANDO'S HAIR STUDIO - BERWYN Illinois

I was working in the salon so i could have more experienced when i finish my school. But its not what they promised. first, they had me washing peoples hair and i wasent getting pay for it then they had me sweeping hair and mixing chemicals and i didnt get pay for that ether and it top of it they were keeping the tips that the customers left for the employees. Also some of the employees have no licensed to be doing hair and they dont even go to school.

for example: Fernando Soria: his the owner and the person who hired me his the only one that knows how to talk to the employees the thing that i didnt like about him was that he was working on the radio station giving beauty tips and free make over and i was doing them and he promised to pay me but i never got anything. the other thing is that his friend Miguel Angel that saids he works at BEL-MAR SCHOOL in Cicero started going there and slowly started doing my job and fernando never told me anything i guess he just wanted me to quite but i didnt all he told me was that work was slow and that he was going to give me another day off that he will call me on monday i will let me know of the new schedule. that was good for me because i have a baby at home and i never hear from him again i call him and he never return my call so i decide two weeks later to just go and pick up my stuff and i did and he never even said anything and all my stuff was move and they took whatever they wanted. well i dont think that is so proffesional of his part he could of just told me that he found somebody else or just that he didnt needed me anymore.

Alicia Soria: his sister dosent know how to be a good boss dosent know how to talk to the employees and dosent know how to talk to the customers and lots of times she mess up peoples hair and dosent even know how to apoligize for what she did and shes the one that keeps the tips. i dont know if she has a licensed but i know she just started going to school because they have a friend at bel-mar school in cicero, IL that is helping them out. in the time that i was there she mess up alot of customers hair and then she will said that it was there fault that they must of had something in there hair. but her problem was that she is so money hungry that she will forget the time that she put on the chemical on the client that by the time she wash of the customer there hair will be all damage of will had fall off.

Jose Luis Castillo: He is alicia soria son and he has NO LICENSED he was train by his uncle FERNANDO soria he is a #1 in keeping the tips that the customers leave. and he is one of the biggest liars and if a lady come in from the radio station or someone that he knows that have money he will leave you half done to take care of that person i think that we are all paing they dont pay more than somebody else so they should all be treated the same.

Angel Castillo: Alcia soria other son he also has NO LICENSED he is currently being train to be a hair stylist by his uncle, mom, and brother. he dose guys hair right know.

Elida Soria: she only works there on saturday and she is the one that pays us. she takes for ever to pay us and she acts like if we have to beg her for our money that we earn and she has the worse attitude ever.

also there mom comes from mexico and is also there doing nothing but im pretty sure she gets more money then the people that they have there washing hair and blowdring.

thay have more employees there just assisting them in color, blowdrying, washing hair, waxing and much more things....

I WONT GO THERE EVEN IF IT WAS FOR FREE BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE A LICENSED PLUS THEY DIDNT GO TO SCHOOL FOR COSMETOLOGY THEY WERE ALL TEACHED BY FERNANDO SORIA....
