When we heard what the people at Festiva had to say everything sounded so great, too great. We were told that we could pay our maintenance fee by posting Resort packages on EBay or renting out our time share, as one associate told us he did. We were told we could cancel at anytime but we need to send our request in a letter by mail and we would no longer owe anything. At the time both myself and my husband were both in the military and making fairly good money so we signed up. We went home so excited, looking at all the places we could go and all the things we could do. We couldn't wait to use our membership, when we called them we were told we had to pay our maintance fee before we were able to use our membership, ok no problem. After that we could no longer get anyone to answer our phone calls, the only time we "talked" with a representative was when there were more fees and more money they wanted from us.

Recently due to medical resens I had to leave the military which put us on one income, because of this and the mounting maintance fees I requested that our membership be canceled. I was told that it was too bad, WE need to honor our contract. I even went through the BBB, I received the same answer from a Ms Angela Norville.

This is from the most resent message I sent to them:

Military family in countering hardship due to loss of employment can no longer afford membership. Instead of trying to help we were told too bad, you still have to pay by this person. I am trying to handle this without getting a legal representative involved. CONTACT: Ms. Angela Norville
