Fieldworks Didn't pay me for being a canvasser. Washington, DC
I worked as a canvasser for Fieldworks, a company responsible for collecting signatures on petitions for a politician running for Montgomery County executive. When it came time to be paid I was told that my voided check didn't get scanned for direct deposit, but when I received my wage statement there big as day was my checking account number.
Then I was told the check was in the mail. The check never came. Next, I received an ADP paycard via UPS with no funds on it. No one has contacted me regarding this issue and it makes you wonder if the politician this company is working for is fit to fill the Montgomery County executive position.
