UPDATE: This sweet talking telemarketer tried to get me to invest in a Canadian online pharmacy & Jewelry business but I told her I was putting my own L.L.C. together and was not interested in anything else. But she was so nice & friendly that we talked for quite awhile.

Then the conversation moved to how much was I paying on my credit cards. She said she could get me 1.9% no problem, she said she just hated to see these credit card companies charge such high interest rates. I said that would be great. She said it would be just a favor, that she don't normally do such things but when I told her my cards were with Fleet and citibank, she already knew the phone numbers to call.

I should have picked up on that but I was a bit tired from working all day. Anyway, she did all the talking except when I was asked for my account numbers. She then said to get my 1.9%from both companies I would have transfer my balances of each account to the other company and that way I would have the 1.9 from both until balances are paid.

I said it's a great idea so she again called each one to arrange the transfers while I was playing with my calculator trying to figure out how much money I was saving. I wasn't paying attention to what she was actually doing and that was transferring $7,195.00 to Freedom Financial & locking me into this pharmacy & jewelry thing that turns out to be another rip off. I didn't realize what she had done until 5 days later when another person called to set up my new website business. I said I wasn't interested but she said that I had already paid for it in full.

I went into shock, I said no way, You have got to cancel it immediately. She said that it could not be cancelled. Then I'm switched to the girl that pulled the fast one on me and thats when I'm told that they tape recorded me giving my approval to get involved in there bogus online business. I was really pissed but she calmed me down by telling me she would take care of it. She said to call her the following day to straighten everything out. then for 2 days she ignored my calls.

I then made out reports to the various consumer protection agencies & the National Fraud Center & the Better Business Bureau and also the Bad Business Bureau. Finally I get a call from another lady from Freedom Financial who threatens to take me to court for fraudulent statements.

I argued with her for it seemned like hours which got me nowhere. She insisted that there was no way out and absolutely no refund. She kept saying that Freedom Financial was a decent company and they employ decent people. Well now I'm still out my $7,195 and what they sent me was a 99 cent binder with a few pages in it. I filled out an afidavit with my credit card company and waiting to hear from them.

I sure could use some help on this if any body has any suggestions. Oh, they are aware that I reorted them to Rip-off report and all the others too. I didn't tell them.

They Actually Sent Me My Refund, I'm in Shock

After months of phone calls and a total run around and refusal and ignoring my calls. Then they offered me a partial refund & keep the on line business. I refused and insisted on a full refund plus damages. Then the big boss got on the phone and said that I would get a full refund but there is no way that they will pay any damages. I suffered substantial damages and I may be getting sued because of what this company did to me. The money that they scammed from me was a part of a down payment on investment property with a signed contract. At closing I didn't have the money, lost the deal, I could have made $30 K . I had to pay a crew of skilled workers that were going to do all the repairs and upgrades & paint inside and out. I didn't have to pay the landscapers because I stopped them before they started. Obviously Financial Freedom was directly responsible for my losses but they are a Limited Liability Company. Does this mean what I think it does? Any comments and/or advise would be appreciated.
