Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On March 15, 2004, my fiance and I purchased a sleigh bed at Finest Furniture, which is now Finest Interiors, we paid $196.67 for the mattress and to ensure delivery of the bed within 4 weeks.

After about 5 weeks, there was no notification on when the bed was to be delivered. So, I called the company and they told me that the manufacture did not have the bed. They told me the bed was coming from China and they did not have it yet.

After another 2 weeks, which they did not call me, I called them again and they told me the same thing.

My fiance and I have called several times to inquire to when this bed would be here. I got a call from the assistant manager, Danny, about 2 1/2 weeks ago, he left a message stating that he has the bed and needs to set up delivery. When we called back they told us it was sitting in Ontario and they needed a driver to go out and get it.

Then I called Wednesday May 19, Thursday May 20, and Friday May 21, to follow up and check when the bed would be delivered. On all three days, I was told that Danny would return my call and set up delivery. I got a call Saturday May 22, I was out of town.

I call Danny back Monday May 24, he told me he can deliver on June 1st. We had agreed on free delivery, a $40 discount, which was 2 1/2 weeks ago. I requested another $100 off, he very rudely told me he couldnt and that it was not his fault for the delay.

I told him if he couldnt take off another $100, I will cancel and request the original $196.67 refunded. He told me that would not happen and to come in and see what would. He refused me both requests. It sounded like a threat to me. I am very offended by this treatment.

I feel that, if a company promises you something by a certain date, first, they should follow up and notify you if there is going to be any delays. I can understand a couple of weeks, even a month, but two months later and no delivery. I just feel a little ripped off. I have been living without a bed for 2 months now. The total cost of the bed is $796.67, which $196.67 has been paid, which leaves $600. I am asking for a discount of $140, which is just a little more than $10 a week that I have been waiting.

The sales person who promise the bed to us in 4 weeks is General Manager Cammy Le. Furthermore, when we spoke to Cammy she said there wasnt anything she could do.

The Assistant Managers name is Danny, he is the one we have been speaking with and also the individual who claims he has the final say.
