Finish Line towing are a bunch of theives and liars they towed a vehical of mine to hickory which 2 weeks later i found out they had removed all of my belongings from the truck. When i contacted the owner TJ Thortenberry about getting my stuff he ignored my calls when he finally did answer he made excuses as to why he couldnt meet me to get my stuff finally my son and fiance went there to get the things they removed his employees were ******** to both of them. When i got home from work and looked thru the stuff they got i realized it was only half there so i called the garage and spoke to the employee who said he cleaned it out and they had cameras and that was all that was in it .so i called his boss TJ and told him i was missing stuff and his response was to cuss me and even told me he would meet me somewhere and whip my *** they are a very shady company they ended up taking almost $1000 worth of stuff from my truck some of which i cant replace and some of which made no sense to even take so unless you want your things stolen to be lied to or like tryin to talk to somebody who only want to cuss you and make verbal threats( i went where he wanted to meet and waited 1/2 hr and no suprise he didnt show up)then stay far away from Finish Line Towing

The reason FL is such a bad company is because of the owner. Very shady business practices as well as treats employees like slaves. Not employees fault they just need to work and are at the mercy of their employer. They put up with a lot from the boss.

The whole point of me doing this was to make other people aware of how you do business. But not long after filing the origanal report i ran across other people with post/complaints from when you were All Safe towing apperantly your practices havent changed. So let me be the bigger man and apologize for pointing out the obvious you have heard before didnt mean to kick a man when he's down. As for calling you thats a joke i left multipe messages for you i even talked to your employee who said he wasnts allowed to talk to me. Wasnt any need to call the police all you had to do was be a man or act like you ran a professional business and call me back or meet me but as i learned from reading other complaints on here thats not how you do things. Im done with the childish games with you hiding behind your phone your employess or a computer its not worth the effort to try and reason with you ill just chalk up my stolen items to a live and learn lesson and move on oh and if the finish line name goes the way of all safe you could always use Shade Tree its a good fit. Have a good day sir im done responding to your posts trying to defend your actions

Well John and everyone this will be my last reply. To answer your question you said it was towed in your first report. I just told what really happened. You made it seem like I towed your car for a repair or somethidg. laughed when I seen your reply and you say when you got home like it was the same day your items were picked up. The facts John are your items sat at my building for 98 days before anyone came to get them them 19 days after that you say you are missing items. Thats absolutley insane your items should have done been gone you know that. But I didnt get rid of a thing and why would anyone keep a CD and hard hat and not keep the name brand tools the new charhartt overalls and all the other valuable items on your list. And as far as meeting at the store you know the truth of what happened you seem to keep going back to that like you are a big man but I remember a different version. Maybe oneday you will man up and deal with your own issues and not send your girlfriend and son to handle your matters. Grow up tell the truth! But I do thank you for showing everyone the contradictions of your first story. My number is the same if you think we can work something out please call. Or if you would like to keep bashing my business on the computer feel free. If someone would have stole my items I would have called the police John. Stealing is a crime Oh but so is filing a false police report.

Yes the vehical was repossesed not sure how that has anything to do with this shop stealing the contents of it but ok. Secondly the woman i dealt with at the finance company was on maternity leave she was unaware that the vehical had been cleaned out thats why it was 3 weeks before anybody contacted him. I called his shop before i called TJ and spoke to the employee who cleaned it out he said that he remembered seeing the stuff i was missing but i needed to contact his boss about it. As for being rude i just asked where my stuff was and he proceeded to cuss me during his "meeting" which was in a gas station parking lot where he told me to meet him, not sure why though he wasnt there but then again when you lie about stealing property lying about your whereabouts goes hand in hand. But its not me who has to make a living that way your the one who has to live with yourself .......oh and last but not least who really calls over a single cd a $3 hard hat and an old cell phone there was way more stuff than that taken ....no need in lying about part of it right just turn it all around works better for you i guess

I was quite surprised when I found this tonight. First of all this man was repossessed for nonpayment and picked up in Arden NC.  Not towed nobody just takes someone's car for no reason. Second of all this mans girlfriend calls over three months later to pick up his personal belongings. luckily we keep belongings for this long. His son who was also an owner of the truck and her come by and pick up the items. Seemed to be very happy. Three weeks later on a Friday this guy calls several times in the evening while I'm in a meeting leaving 1 message that I return the call at 4:30pm. He claims he was missing a cd, cell phone and a hard hat. He comes across demanding rude and agressive. We exchange words nothing good to say to one another. He gets a set of Verizon balls and wants to meet me. All I can say is this is the most stretched truth I've ever seen. Yes I guess you could say I towed his truck for non payment. And yes we did have his belongings that his son and girlfriend picked up. All I can say about John is he is definetly a liar and a truth stretcher. But that is the Paul Harvey rest of the story.
