FIRESTONE Perfect case of scam auto repiar, ripoff. TULSA Oklahoma
I took my car in for some tires around 10 am. I called all firestones and this store had the tires at $100 less. Came in spoke to an obese hispanic man who was managemnt. 12 pm They put the tires on and say I need an alignment I decline and say i dont need it. They said well take it off the rack about an hour goes by and they tell me this.
12:30, after my tires are done and car off the rack they asked me how long have you had a coolant leak. I'm like what I dont have a leak. I They show me I have gallons of coolant leaking out of the car. I supsected a scam from the start. Well I looked for signs of leakage in the parking lot and there was none before the car put on the rack.
I also noticed tool marks on the intake manifold from where they destroyed the intake manifold. Anyway they showed me a printed sheet showing what it would cost to fix it. Probelm is the time it was printed was at 11 AM! There was no leaking at 12 pm when I went into the shop so he could show me i needed an alignment.
They said they would need to order a new and improved part. I ask for the old part and his mouth dropped. Saying he would under no circumstances give me the part. I said if the new and improved part is needed what do you need the old core for? He didnt answer me.
While they were doing the repair the mechanic said yeah this palce gets slow during the winter time and they lower the price of tires to get customers in the door. But he never admitted he broke my car but he said he had a family to feed and people need to stop being cheap with their cars.
Be careful when you get an undercutter in price like this. Very,very scary to say the least. Anyone else speak up please!
