First American Home Buyers Protection Corporation ripoff Van Nuys California
During the past year I have called this warranty company 7 times to have someone come out and fix my air conditioner. The first time they replaced the unit with a brand new unit, but never replaced the exposed wires. Every other time I have called them to get someone out here to replace the exposed wires outside (every time it rains you smell the wires burning, then the air conditioner stops working and just lets out heat), but they keep telling me they have to get it approved through another department. After waiting on hold each time for a minimum of 50 minutes so they can try to get "proper approval" they send someone out to my house -I pay the $55.00 deductible AGAIN - just for the repair man to tell me that they need to get it approved through my insurance company to replace the wires.
It is a ridulous circle with this company and I will not put my families life in danger due to this companies negligence (exposed wires). The heat in Texas is not pleasant and I shouldn''t have to call this company every month and a half when the air conditioner goes out and then have to pay the $55.00 fee every time. This is a horrible company to do any type of business with and I do not recommend them to anyone needing a home warranty company.
