First Capital Consumers ripoff BelAir Maryland
I'm sad to say that I was one of the victoms of this First Capital Consumers scam.I got a call on my cell phone around the first part of June from a lady that called her self Lucy Johnson.She told me that I was aproved for a 2000.00 line of credit,and I did not have to put any money down at that time that I could wait for the card and take it out then and they would debit 199.00 from My account.She gave me a pin #(2828).I was to wait for some one to call me back to verifie my info.and someone did call me back.I was also given the chose to change the debit date in order for me to receive the card intime so that they would not take the money untill I got the card.
I called the custemer service number(416-488-4664) that they gave me and I got a answering service every time.I left many messages for this Lucy person to call me,and I never got a phone call from any one.So I called the number that came up on My caller Id (416-363-5298)and got an answer from a man that answered the phone as First Capital Consumers.
Anyway the money was debited from my account on the 26th of June.I never got the card,but I did receive a packet with a bunch of credit card applacations,and cupons.I relised I had been got when I called that 5298 # and got a hello instead of First Capital Cons.and the guy that answered that phone said that I had the wrong number.SO BEWARE OF ANYONE CALLING YOU SAYING IT IS FIRST CAPITAL CONSUMERS.
If it wasn't for my husband finding this web site,I would not of had the chance to file for a refund.
