I have a balance of $3,805.00 and a minimum pmt. of $104.00. They are charging me an $84.75 per month fee for a "cash" finance charge. They are also charging me a $15.64 dollar finance fee on the remaining balance.

If I make just my minimum payment, $6.00 is applied to my principal balance.

I have yet to receive a bill without a so called late fee. I pay all my bills on time and somehow they just suggest the mail is slow. I was involved in the CA. Fires in November and did not know how much I was using the card (just trying to survive) and they charged me an over the limit fee. This is crazy, they should have just rejected the charge. Late payment $39.00 Over the limit $39.00 and on and on.Please contact me when a class action law suite is in the works. This credit card is issued by Columbus Bank and Trust in Georgia.

I will also file a complaint with the Attorney General in my state as well as Georgia, please consider doing the same.

Best regards,

Susan

How much of this credit card balance is the cash advance part??? Most credit card companies charge a higher interest rate for cash advances. What did your credit card say was the percentage rate. When you got the credit card what did the disclosure say about getting cash advances from your credit card. You should only use a cash advance for emergencies if at all. I know I never even use this option. You should pay more than the minimum due when you send in your payment. If you do you will notice that they will more than likely subtract that from the cash advance balance as well as some towards the principal. Just poor cash management on your side not predatory lending.
