I was contacted at my JOB today by someone who told me I owed money and referenced a "bank account" that I had at DP Bank.  First, I asked why he was calling me at work; and then when I questioned the information he had, he began to threaten me with a lawsuit.  I do not have or have ever had an account with a DP Bank.

I immediately hung up at him.  I work for a Doctor at a front desk position so this is quite embarassing.  As soon as I hung up, he called back.  I again told him I was at work and I was not permitted to receive personal phone calls and what he was doing is illegal.  He told me he had every right to do this.

I hung up again.  He called again.  Since we have caller ID at work, I just lifted up the receiver and hung up.   He called back AGAIN.  This time a co-worker answered the phone.  He tried to get my office address before I stopped her.  This time I told him I was going to file a lawsuit against him and thanked him for giving me the immuntion I needed with his repeated phone calls which were overheard by co-workers and documented on our caller ID.  He again threatened me.

He called a total of 4 times in 5 minutes.  I have contacted an attorney and we are discussing the possibility of filing a lawsuit.

and give them the phone number from your caller ID so they can track these people down.

If it happened to you, it is probably happening to other people in your area. They might try this scam on the elderly, and many elderly people might actually fall for the scam and pay these people.

BLOW THE WHISTLE at all of your local T.V. stations. Most T.V. stations have Investigative Reporters who would like to hear about this company.

Good luck!
