First National credit card (royal visa) encourages people to apply for "a card that 'rebuilds' credit offering 'automatic line increases'" etc....

Instead the card offers little or no credit, even with a good credit history at sub-prime rates with lots of beginner fees, then DAMAGES your credit by "miskeying" payments, reporting late & overlimit when inaccurate then not fixing the reporting errors, holding payments for 15-20 days but still charging $6.00 per month participation, never increasing limits but instead causing "mistakes on our part or the part of the consumer".

For example depositing ACH debits (which are auto payments you provide via checking over the phone) TWO TO THREE DAYS PRIOR TO AGREED UPON which they then charge the consumer for, cause other checks to bounce & then report the account late/overlimit.

IN DECEMBER 03, my account had been "current" by much work on my part, mailing in payments prior to even receiving statements, etc...for the "six months" the representative stated would be necessary to increase limit & decrease payment holds and fees. This was after having one to two years bad history due to job loss and lateness on my part & "keying" errors etc.. on their part. Despite the requested time being fufilled the review came back negative. They had MISPOSTED my $250.00 payment as ONLY $25.00 . This payment was a bank money order (copy retained). When they contacted me about my "overlimit" account I was stunned!!!! The representative told me that my $59.95 ANNUAL FEE had put me overlimit. For starters the fee isn't suppossed to be charged until one year and is not due until January 1st.....For finishers they not only failed to fix the problem without MY credit union helping me, they SWORE ON HONOR that the "mistake on their part " would not adversely affect my credit that I'd worked so hard to repair...

Upon obtaining a copy of my EQUIFAX/EXPERIAN & TRANSUNION there was the account REPORTING LATE & OVERLIMIT . Long story short, they then held the key mistake 25.00 payment for fifteen days & after proving the amount was suppossed to be 250.00 they had it in there system as a RETURNED CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF 225.00 & were impossible to deal with when needing fees/information corrected or deleted. It was not until I offered to contact the RHODE ISLAND ATTORNEY GENERAL for assistance did they reverse fees, ect... This account, however is now "unavailable " for any increase/upgrades as it is showing a current delinquincy in their system for Dec. 03

At the time of this writing I HAVE A CREDIT OWED TO ME OF $60.00, WHICH THEY ARE REFUSING TO ALLOW ME TO USE . This, they stated , is because I made TOO MANY payments??? In fact, their automated info line is stating I am forty dollars "overlimit". They refuse to correct this and it will probably report late to the trade bureaus again, further damaging my GOOD CREDIT. My intention with making the big payments (8/03-2/04 $60.00-$250.00 monthly) was to improve my account history, leave the account open for six-eight months to report favorably, then close it to get out of paying $6.00 per month for payment holds that last more than 1/2 of the month. Now due to their "keying errors" I will need to pay them an additional six-eight months of fees to try to prevent further credit damage. Anyone who calls to request from any consumer agency will be provided all relevent paperwork, including credit reports & receipts to verify this complaint.

THIS COMPANY OBTAINS MONEY ILLEGALLY!!!!!!
