First National Credit ripoff "gold credit card" scheme, almost got me too, for $37.00 Aliso Viejo California
Last night I picked up my mail and found a letter indicating that I had been pre approved for a $15,000 credit limit "gold card."
It also stipulated that the card had 0% interest for one year after which it became a "prime plus" card at about 11.25%. I must admit, it looked fairly good. However, I saw no bank name asociated with the credit line, no phone numbers and no nationally recognized card associated with it (like Visa or MasterCard).
Fortunately, I came to work this morning and look on the internet for this comapny and found this great web site which pointed out others who were tricked by this scam.
By the way, to make matters worse, I was going to send in $47.00 in order to rush my order, how dumb would that have been! Public........beware of this company and this nasty scam.
