I got this stupid letter in from First National Credit stating that I had been pre-approved for a gold card of upto 15,000 in credit. It struck me as odd because they did not ask for any banking information and they did not have any way to contact them.

I thought is was a scam and when I read it closer I see that "I may use your gold card immediately upon receipt for all purchases from credit provider." Credit provider is the only place I can use this stupid card. What a flaming rip-off.

I am going to inform the Postal Service and the Attorney General's office in Florida (where I reside) and in California where they operate from. I can't believe that the California government allows this scam to continue.

Subject: Thank you

I just want to thank you for reporting this information. I just got a letter from First National Credit stating I just needed to mail in $40.00. I probably would have done it if I had not read this site. Thanks!

I found this site THANK GOD, BLESS ALL YOU WHO WROTE IN. Any way I found the address as most of you did, I also wanted a phone number to call them the one I found is : 949-448-8822. I then decided to find out about them in the California Better Business Bureau , this is where I found this site. I live in Missouri, so apparently they have already gone wide spread with the phoney letter, The key is if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is, and I was right. I have read responses from Florida, and Illinois, and now me from Missouri. For all who have enough common sense to check this company out : my advice DONT FALL FOR IT...
