the company first national credit sent me a certificate that stated that we could get $15,000 gold card. Upon reciept of the certificate i decided to find out more. there was no phone # and i called information and got a # and a consistant recording stating that you could only talk to them if you had the first 3 digits of your card #. after seeing this site i realize this is another scam and hope no one falls prey to these people.

I RECEIVED THIS CERTIFICATE IN THE MAIL AND OF COURSE IT CAME AT A TIME WHEN I NEEDED MONEY. I THOUGHT ABOUT MY CREDIT SITUATION, AND THOUGHT THEY HAD TO BE CRAZY TO OFFER ME A PRE-APPROVED CREDIT CARD for 15,000 and no interest for 12 months . A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER I READ THE CERTIFICATE AGAIN AND NOTICED A LOT OF MISTAKES IN THE LETTER. THERE WASN'T ANYTHING WRITTEN ON THE BACK. IT DOES NOT HAVE A PLACE FOR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, and no telephone number. The envelope was plain and the stamp had been stuck on I suggest to all consumers to be aware of your credit history, and always check out companies that solicit you.

I recieved First National Credit's Acceptance Certificate in the mail yesterday. I'm so glad badbusinessbureau.com is online. I really thought about going through with sending them cash to get my card. So this morning I decided to look them up. Guess what I found? This site with First National Credit as being listed as Fraud. I think it's a great idea to respone to this company like the lady did with sending coupons. I will be doing the same but maybe I should send something a little more smelly than coupons. They Don't get my vote for the Most Outstanding Company of 2002. What they will get is a mail reply and a few comments to Mr. William Roberts in the Approval Dept. I pray that more folks will do some homework before sending thier money off to scams like this one. Thanks badbusinessbureau.com

Yesterday, I got this offer for the SECOND time. I had already checked them out the first time, and I posted a complaint here then. This time, I decided to have some fun with it. I had just received one of those mailings with lots of coupons in it, and I had also received an offer for a "loan" (one of those with 500% interest on them). So.....I wrote First National this letter: Dear Mr. (sorry forget his name): Since you are still running this scam, despite all the complaints about you, I can only conclude that you must be in dire financial straits. Therefore, I am enclosing some money-saving coupons for your use, as well as a wonderful loan offer. I hope they help you out! I pray that things get better for you. Sincerely, Tracey D. S Then I enclosed the coupons, etc. They were good coupons too! LOL free dozen doughnuts, $150 off windshield replacement, free carpet cleaning, etc.! LOLOLOLOL

Thanks for posting your information on these guys, it kept me from making a bad mistake. I received a letter from them offering me $15000.credit card. Something told me to check them out on the net. And I am glad that I did because I found this site. They wanted me to send 37.00 dollars before I can received the card. These people should be forced to honor the guarantee the offer consumers, those who has already been bitten by them, for the full amount they offer with no repayment schedule.

I recieved a certificate from First National Credit, sat down and wrote a check and before licking the stamp I decided to check them out online. After typing there name I found this and apparently saved myself $43. I needed this money to consolidate my debt anyway. To those people that have posted on this site thank-you and i'm sorry you got used by people that dont know what its like to do a hard days work to take care of themselves or their families. I am thoroughly aggravated that people not only can live there lives this way but are apparently still doing it. Again I'm sorry to those people that were taken for fools and I am one person who is not laughing.

03-16-02 i received one of these letters. First upon reading the letter, i was struck by the fact that no where did it say it was a bank card. The trouble with most people stung by this ripoff is that they dont read the words shown and put them together in a logical way. I have found by reading the words and getting the meaning inferred by them, its possible for a lot of these ripoff scams to fail. You must understand the information shown as well as what it may infer. This is the best way for beating these cheats at their own game.

I was ecxited about being able to restablish my credit nd sent off ny noney order. The fact that they sent me a certificate with no phonenumber on it struck me as odd, but I called information to see if it was a legit company and there name and number was listed. So, I though maybe it was. I called the number to get more info, but the automated system just kept going in loops and there was no way to reach anyone without a credit card number and being member according to the statements on the recording. We sent th money order off anyway for the rush delivery. It was a $43 money order. It had been past 14 business days and we have seen nothing. I tried to call them and couldn't get through to anyone. I tried typing in different extensions and the phone kept saying that number is invalid or that the number was no longer working. Then, I decided to look on the internet to see if this company was really legit and realized I was scammed. I will take matters into my own hands and find out who they are. They will pay.
