Complaint Review: Fit 12 - minnetonka Mississippi

I've been encouraged by our members and many friends to write this to set the record straight. I don't feel comfortable about talking about myself in reference to some of my achievements; but have been advised to do so, and I will keep them brief. I would like to first address the false accusations being made on this site. These people have tried to damage my reputation on other sites; but the sites didn't allow it due to there being no truth to the accusations. This site allows people to fabricate stories without much recourse for targets, such as myself.

These accusations were made by a disgruntled employee that was released for inappropriate behavior on the job, and these stories are being perpetuated by one of our close competitors. My business practices are highly ethical with a true concern for our members and clients, whom I serve. Anyone who would like to confirm this; I truly welcome you to contact me to determine on your own accord as to the validity of these accusations by meeting me and talking with our members.

In regards to these accusations; I have been a health club consultant for almost 18 years, and have had the responsibility of helping fitness centers succeed, or do what would be best for their customers and the business. At least 90% of the businesses that I've helped (including one of our present competitors, that is/has been perpetuating negative stories about our business and me), have had substantial improvements within their business. There are 3 businesses over the course of 18 years that I've had to help close, or change ownership for various reasons. In this regard, this is the only half truth to the accusations on this site.

1 business in particular was Fuse Family Fitness in Bentonville, AR; which I aided in helping members temporarily relocate to another club at 1/2 their previous membership rate, and then these members were back in their original gym under the new name of Powerhouse Gym with new ownership. All members had the very same facility with the same equipment. The only change was that the members paid a substantially lower membership rate with a different business name on the door. Unfortunately it seems the media sometimes doesn't follow up their stories if there's a happy ending. What I have recently learned of the internet and media is that the consumer usually only gets the negative side of a story. Somehow that seems more "interesting".

Just part of my professional history includes spending 12 years in the United States Army as a paratrooper, Infantryman, Cavalry Scout and Master Fitness Trainer. I was also a highly decorated soldier...including a Bronze Star for actions in combat. In 1996 I started helping health clubs improve their business because of my passion for exercise, and the belief that everyone needs to exercise. To me exercise is the closest thing to a cure-all, the fountain of youth, anti-depressant etc. As a health club consultant I have had the great fortune of successfully helping every business owner; but one I've worked with.  

I had created the Fit12 model in 2008, and with the help and trust of a business partner I was able to start construction on the first Fit12 in Minnetonka in September/October 2013. I work my business everyday as the janitor, Personal Trainer, Boot Camp Instructor, maintenance man and memberships. My monthly rates are on our website for all to see, and my goal is to give all members a clean facility with great service and some of the best equipment at a great value, and be in a gym where everyone feels respected, encouraged and valued.

In closing I would like to state that I have taken these accusations to the Minnetonka Police Department; but from my understanding law enforcement claims that people that fabricate derogatory and damaging stories about another individual is not criminal, hence not against any law. 

I realize that is sometimes difficult to discern the truth from fiction; but I ask you to contact me to determine the truth for yourself. Because of this experience I hope you or anyone else you know will have to experience this type of conduct.

Funny how you mentioned this Mork character is shady....look up his criminal record for MN. He currently has 4 pending criminal charges within the last six months. One is a DWI with the Medina Police Department in May 2014, he has a Violation of a Protection Order from Feb 2014 with a 24 year old former employee (his age 53).  In regards to the same female and ex-employee he is facing two staulking charges which he has court for in August. 

He has done this type of business in the past (Madison WI) and Fuse gyms.  The Attorney General of WI pressed charges against him and made him repay money taken from accounts after closure of his gym.  He has a history of doing this and being part of failed businesses.  He also owes more than $10,000 in judgements in the state of WI (WI Circuit Courts) which have not been paid. Beware of this guy and don't trust him as people have made that mistake in the past.
