FLA AC SERVICES AND DUCT HALLANDALE FL Air Care Solutions Lying, telling us that we have mold, and showing us a piece of an air condition duct that was not ours hallandale, Florida
We call the company Air Care Solutions which has an ad in one of the magazine Money Saver mag that suppose has a deal for clean the air duct plus basic coli cleaning and free A/C duct inspection. Two men (Jose and Michael) came Monday 25, 2011, Jose, the technician, from Israel and Michael, the helper, from Dominican Republic.
Jose started asking questions, someones very personal, while Michael came inside my living room with a vacuum machine and without taking the vent off installed. I asked if they don't have to take the vent off and Jose immediately came and told me that no, because the vacuum will suck all the dust. They only put that vacuum in one vent.
Michael went to my attic supposed to inspect it, and a couple minutes later Jose called me to the garage and showed me a perfect piece of air conditioning duct and told me "you have mold in your air condition." I asked "where did you get that piece." he told "from your air conditioning" After that he started torturing me saying that I have mold but in aggressive tone.
I asked him can you do the air duct cleaning and he said "no, you have mold, you need to clean the mold first, and that will cost you $275.00." Also that I have to buy a kind of UV lamp and install it, that was $750.00 more. I told him that I was not able to make any decission about that expenses in that moment, and he said "who is the boss in this house" I said "my husband, because he is who work and pay the bills".
He practically forced me to spend that money saying that my daughter's health was in risk because of that "mold" in my air condition. I called my husband and almost crying told my husband what Jose told my about my daughter's health. My husband told me ok if is that bad tell him that clean up the "mold".
Also, he said that he drove two hours because they are from Hallandale, Miami, I said " I called to a phone number that the area code is 772 which belong to Stuart/PSL. He charged his cell phone in my house, acting like it was his home, giving demanding commands.
When Jose went to the truck for a moment, I approached Michael and asked if it was true about the mold, and he told me "I don't know anything, please," asked Jose, "don't put my job in a risk" I was really surprise about this comment.
At the end of this process I finished paying $1,200.00. For some reason, I did not feel comfortable about that comment and the whole situation, and started searching on the internet about this company and I discovered that this company had rip off several people already.
The next day, I called Stanley Steemer and they came to clean the air ducts and told me that I didn't have any mold, and my air condition looked new. I asked them if the air duct had any square cut out, and they said no. I asked them if there is any sign of mold and they said no, there is no mold and probably never had mold.

please notify your local news agency and dateline nbc's chris hansen who has exposed ac air duct handlers for the scams this company pulls. It's the only way to stop these thieves from stealing our hard earned money.
