Complaint Review: Flip City Gymnastics & Cheer - boynton beach Florida

 This report and these comments make me sick. I have been an athlete at flip city for 3 seasons now. All 3 of these years I was on the senior 4 team and was never used to cross down. And to the person who says we weren't successful, tell that to my summit banner and metal. We worked our asses off just like every other gym out there. About the comments about Michael, tell me who has all this free time to go stalking other people's lives?? Like leave him alone. Michael is an amazing coach and I have nothing but respect for him. He loves all of his athletes. He has taught me what real family is like, which is honestly something I never experienced at home. He taught me how to work hard for what I want, how to eat right and stay in shape. Never once did he make me feel down on my self but only pushed me to work harder. Flip city is not only a gym, they are a family and anyone should feel lucky to be apart of it. I am 18 now and I know right from wrong and If a 26 year old can't go out and have a drink with cheer moms, than every gym would be in the wrong. So please leave my family alone, thanks. FC4L

Do Some Research!! The original report posted above is completely accurate! This gym is notorious in the south Florida cheer circle. Sadly parents who are not educated in the World of allstar cheerleading are grossly mislead by this gym's success in competitions and the fake credentials the owner lies about her head coach having. 

What parents SHOULD KNOW is that this gym is only successful with a small group of very experienced athletes that the coach crosses over on to every lower level team, to win the lower level divisions at competitions. The same athletes that compete UNSUCCESSFULLY in level 4 are the same exact athletes that compete successfully on level 2 teams. Flipcity consistently beats competitors who have teams that are made up of athletes that genuinely compete at their skill level. This gym is only winning at the lower levels because they constantly cheat by stacking their teams with athletes that compete on teams two and three times higher than the lower level team they compete on secondarily. This is cheating and it's sad. All their coach cares about is winning, to shield his own insecurities, to try to build credentials.. The owner, Lori, tells parents that stacking is common at all gyms, NOT TRUE.

When you meet the owner, Lori and coach Michael you immediately understand how low end this gym actually is. Well you would understand it if you do even a little research. The owner completely lies about the qualifications of her gym and the coaching staff, even in writing on her web-site. Michael Joseph Rini, the director or head coach, claims he cheered and graduated from The University of Kentucky. What a laugh! Call UK, call their admissions department. Rini NEVER attended The University of Kentucky! He claims he's from Lexington Kentucky, yet he lived there for a year. His facebook says he is an alumni of The University of Kentucky, but he NEVER graduated HIGH SCHOOL! Where is your diploma Rini? Even McDonalds requires their employees to graduate high school Lori. Telling parents this fraudulent lie is intentionally misleading consumers, unlawful. 

The Flipcity web-site even publishes lies about coach Rini. A World Champion with Kentucky Elite, that is a complete LIE. A two National Champion with the NCA, that too is a complete lie! Rini cheered at Kentucky Elite for one year only and that team certainly did NOT win a National Championship or Worlds!

Lori allows one of the young male cheerleaders to share a hotel room with Rini at competitions. Rini someone who has done pornography, lived naked in a house with other men and had cameras follow him around all day, google Fratmen.com Caleb and you can see for yourself, with activity as recent as 2013 if you look through all the google pages. Lori thinks it's okay to have a 16 year old boy, share a room with Rini, unsupervised? I think this should be brought to the attention of the boys parents or the authorities.

Rini goes to practice frequently drunk! Some of the ladies will even comment on it after practice. He takes Adderall, that he asks parents for regularly as an upper! Then he is verbally abusive to the athletes, down grading these ladies by ridiculing them about their looks and weight..

Many of the ladies who have been an integral part of this team are leaving after this season. A lovely coach was recently fired and was classy enough not to bring a lot of the facts to the attention of parents. But a lot of people are asking questions now and doing a little research. This gym will fall apart when the truth comes out. The original post was so true.. I wish I would have believed it. 

 At Flip City in Boynton Beach no one is perfect, true!  When mistakes are made they are addressed.  My daughter has been cheering for 6 years and just started with this company this season and I have to say that she has blossomed more in the 7 months she's been at Flip City then she did anywhere else.  I look forward to her growth at Flip City and I know that Michael, Lori, and Tara love their athletes like family.  All I've seen is children learning discipline of hard work and what it is to be part of a team and having lots of fun.  In my eyes, Flip City just makes champions and perhaps this report is just a jealous Gym who rips off our cheerleaders routines.

Flip city is an amazing gym that creates great athletes. My daughter has grown so much their, and her team has beat over 42 teams in half a season.Not eveyones perfect but i know for a fact that mike rini did that when he was 18 and now is 26 he is a responsible adult who cares more about these kids than anything, and tara is also her coach and has made mistakes as a young teenager, who is now an amazing coach and athlete and works every single day and goed to school. This gym has jmproved so much and im proud to be apart of flip city.
