I purchased a Ford Focus in April 2002. Initially when I first purchsed the vehicle we had had test driven the vehicle with the salesperson in the back seat. I asked the salesperson several times about the noise I was hearing from the left rear tire. The salesperson stated it was a new kind of muffler they installed in the Focus which makes the sound a little louder.

From there we were talking about two different things. I went on for about 4-5 weeks and the noise was getting louder and louder. I took it back down to Ford and I wanted two people to drive my vehicle to make sure that the sound was part of the vehicle. The first guy that drove it stated that he did not hear anything. The second guy drove it he knew right away that it was the left wheel bearing in which they fixed the problem the same day and guess what, no more noises.

I took a little vacation and when I arrived at my destination my key was stuck in the ignition. I took it to another Ford dealership(not the one that I originally purchased from)hoping that I would be able to get some help only to find out that they were unable to help me.

Here I am out-of-town driving around with my key stuck in the ignition. Everytime I went into the store I would have to worry if my vehicle is still out in the parking lot. Do you realize how miserable my trip was? I was thinking that when you buy a Ford you can take it to another Ford dealership and they can repair it.(Not True)

I eventually contacted Ford Customer Service in which they help me with getting the vehicle repaired. I should not have to contact CS to have them contact the dealership to repair my vehicle especially when it stills have a warranty. The CSR stated, "Do you know how many people are satisfied with the Ford Focus?" I told her "No. How many people are not satisfied with it?"

I am still not happy with it..
