I purchased my 2000 Ford Focus 3 years ago. It was only a year old and hadd 6000 miles on it.

I now wish I had never purchased this poorly manufactured vehicle. I have had nothing but problems with this car.

First of all I have dealt with all the hassels of the numerous recalls. Have had brake problems and I was involved in an accident in this vehicle 2 years ago. It was a low impact crash. I rear ended a trailor hitch on the other vehicle doing less then 5 miles per hour. My air bags ingaged, blowing out the windshield, filling the car with white powder, and scarring the crap out of myself and my two children who were in the back seat.

It took the body shop 4 weeks to repair my car because they were at the mercy of the Ford dealer to fix the air bag and seat belt issues. Costing me a lot of money on a rental car, not to mention my deductable.

I informed Ford at that time of the fact that this should not have happened and all they wanted to know was I going to sue them.

Recently, I tried to refinance/trade-in the car and found out that I owe approximatly $4000 more then it is worth.

Since I am stuck with this pieace of crap, I decided to have just another recall issue fixed on the fuel system. I had taken my car to the dealer 2 weeks age to have this issue fixed.I then started have problems with the engine light coming on an it not wanting to run.

I then got stuck in a parking lot the night before I was to take it back. My manuel transmission gear shift would not go into gear. I was informed after all day waiting to find out that the transmission on a 4 year old car with 57000 miles was shot. I also was informed that I had an A/C issue.

So here I am with a car that will not go anywhere until I come up with approximately $3000 to fix it. And they still are not sure what is really wrong with the transmission.

I contacted Ford Motor in Michagen and after some time on the phone with them they informed me that it was my problem and that it would be my expensee to incur.

Well this morning amazingly I get a call from the dealership that is working on my car. It is not the transmission now it is just a cable in the gear shift. I am causing a stink at the dealership. They will have there name posted here shortly if they don't compinsate me properly.
