Here is why I think Frank Toyota Mile of Cars (National City, CA) Is a Rip-off

Yesterday I brought my truck in for an oil change like I always do.This time when I picked up my truck I noticed they did not wash my truck like they had always done with an oil change. I asked them about it and was told I could pay for a carwash as they do not offer a free car wash with the 30 minute express lane oil change (Funny because it took over an hour).

 Not being happy about the new policy I called Toyota Chula Vista (My new Toyota Dealer because they do the small things that count), and I asked them about their car washing policy, I was told it does not matter what gets done on your vehicle, from service to express oil change, they said you will always receive a free carwash. (So there it is there did my homework).

 So this morning I call Frank Toyota and let them know this is not a fair policy. I was then told that to offer a great deal for the oil change they had to cut out the free carwash. (Come on over the years Ive always had my oil changed at a cost of in-between $25 to $30 so what savings are you talking about??)

I then ask to talk to the service manager and they tell me he is in a meeting that he will call me back (this is at 8:00 a.m.) no call back so I call back at 10:15 a.m. and this time I get through to the service manager Dave Van Rooy, I told him I did not agree with this new policy and that Toyota Chula Vista offers the car wash, he said Thats Them not us.

I went on to explain that this policy is going to take a customer away from them and that I wouldnt be surprised if more follow, He said they havent lost a single customer over this (I say give them time).

I said well you lost me.  I know that he didnt give a d**n about me (He sure wasnt sympathetic with my concern) Frank Toyota has lost a customer over this!! I know some may say really over a carwash?? My answer is yes, we are in a recession era where every dollar counts and life is tough for us consumers.

Its small things that go a long ways these days and Frank Toyota does not care about the customer. I may be only one small voice, but I am not going to just sit there and not be Happy about even more service being taken away from the customer!!

Ken, yeah right like I buy them trying to save money!!! The other dealer across town still offers free carwashes!!! Heres the deal I've always did business with them you would think they would show appreciation

How, exactly, is this a Ripoff? Sounds like they may have changed the policy to keep from raising the oil change cost. I'll bet they won't miss you. Nope, I DON't work for them.
