freedom resource credit card ripoff woodstock Georgia
I received a phone call from freedom resource. They promised me a credit card with a credit line of $2500 dollars if I join their club. I asked them how they got my phone #. They told me from a card co. that denied me credit. When I asked them why they were willing to give me credit, they replied that they were more understanding than major creditors and were put in place to help people that had semi-bad credit or no credit.
They took $250.00 from me. When I received their package in the mail I discovered that the card they promised me was a debt card that I was allowed to put upto $2500.00 onto it. It clearly stated in the package that it was NOT a credit card which was the opposite of what the man said on the phone.
I got ripped off! Recently I went to my bank and got a secured credit card to establish real credit. Its not the easy way but the safe way. I recomend that if anyone wants to establish credit, pay your bills on time and get a secured credit card from a real bank.
