Fun Town RV waco sales manager Mike Promised $50 refferral fee for everyone i sent to them that bought an RV waco Texas
We had bought a 2009 Forrest River RV from FunTownRVWaco on April 26,2013.Had a very pleasant experience We were told by the Sales Staff, that if we sent some one to FunTownRV waco, and they bought an RV , we would get $50. We are friends with a couple who too had been in the market for a new RV, so we sent them to FunTownRV in waco , and they bought a 2004 KeyStone. we waited and waited no check, the people we sent would ask them did you send the check yet? oh we are working on it. Months went by, everytime i called, it was we will get that to you in the mail in the morning, never did.
so i called up there, and said look this is long enought, what is going on? so later that day, i got a call from Mike the sales manager, he was very ugly on the phone, kept trying to come up with a reason he didnt have to send the check. i wouldnt give up, finally he said " Man, i didnt know you were that hard up for $50, i will send it to you"i asked him what did you say? he would not repeat, so i told him, REALLY, you want me to reccommend you to other people, and thats how you treat me? so i called back up there wanting to speak to the owner, they told me he wasnt there, but i could speak with Mike the sales manager,
well thats who i have trouble with, so the girl suppossidly took my name and number to give to the owner, because i wanted to talk to him, and to this day, i have not heard from him, Now the next day, i did get a call from Mike, telling me, he had thought about it , and he was too rough, and sorry for what he said, yeah right, i dont believe one word of it, i have taken anything off my RV that said FunTownRV on it. i will not advertise for them again. They did not follow throught with what they promised until i pressured them, it shold not be that way. I will never do business with FunTownRV again. I dont like doing business with some one who doesnt keep their word, the same can be asked of Mike, you needed that $50 so bad you were willing to lose free advertisment from me? we camp somewhere every two weeks.

It was not ME who cussed and was ugly on the phone, it was Mike. He called me, and to say my voice mail doesnt reflect my real self, how would he know what my voiice mail says, he never used it, because they wouldnt call me back, when i was trying to get my $50. Only after i told the girl who answered the phone, this has been long enought, did Mike call me, and he hee hawed around trying to find every excuse why not to send the check,
Then he told me, i didnt know you were that hard up for $50, i asked him, what did you say? and he would not repeat. I am done with FunTown Rv in waco, so it doesnt really matter to me what he thinks, but i dont like some one to promise you something, and not follow through, so i am trying to keep some one else from going through what i did. and to all, yes while you are there, trying to buy, they will fall all over themselves doing anything and everything to seal the deal, its the after the deal, you need to watch.

The couple i sent told the sales lady that they needed to speak to a certain person, she said no, thats ok, i will make sure he gets the check. It was not ME who was ugly on the phone it was Mike, i told them it was long enough, i explained that we camp every couple of weeks, and while in a camp ground people talk, and after how rude and ugly he was, i was not going to send people his way anymore. i did not cuss him. he was the one with the foul mouth, so that goes to show you, how he works, to make up lies now to try and cover himself. he got tired, of listening to me?? he never shut up long enough once he found out who i was, to let me talk. He shouldnt have had to call back to offer an apology, he should have been more professional then that, and i think the only reason he called, was because the owner told him to take care of it. regardless, no free advertisment from me, i will steer people away from there. to me its a done deal, i wont buy from there again, but i am trying to keep other people being promised somthing and not get it, until you call over and over again. as i said in the complaint, yes i finally did get my check, only after Mike made a butt out of himself.

Yes we do have a referral program for our customers. The salesperson that sold the referral was not the salesperson that sold the origanal deal. Our policy is that the customer sends the referral back to the same salesperson they bought from and yes we do send out a check for $50. The mistake came when the customer said David sent us and the salesperson assumed it was a customer she had sold to recently and we sent that person the $50 later this person called and we found out we sent to wrong person. He got very ugly on the phone using bad language and yes I got upset after having to listen to his foul mouth. I did get him his $50 and called to appoligize he said he accepted my appoligy and it was genuine. So again he lies. I do appoligize for the mix up. it's a shame his voice mail does not reflect him personally.
